3.2.2.4 USE OF EXISTING ROADS AS HAUL ROUTES The Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating with the base authorities for use of any existing roads as haul routes. Construction, and routing of new haul roads, and/or upgrading of existing roads to carry anticipated construction traffic shall be coordinated with the Base authorities and is the sole responsibility of the Contractor. 3.2.2.5 EMPLOYEE PARKING The Contractors employees may be allowed parking on the military installation. The Contractor is responsible for transporting workers (local nationals) from off post to the worksite, coordinating security identification screening, and cooperating in gate searches with the base authorities. The government reserves the right to terminate any and all Contractor parking at any time. 3.2.3 BATCH PLANT The Contractor shall obtain local authorizations, permits and licenses necessary to establish his quarry operations, batching operations and haul routes in accordance with Host Country Rules and Customs. 3.2.4 GOVERNMENT FIELD OFFICE BID OPTION 3.2.4.1 GENERAL The Contractor shall furnish a temporary field office complete with the services, furniture, and features indicated below for use by US Army Corps of Engineers personnel and other persons as designated by the Contracting Officer. The Contractor shall fully maintain and repair all facilities, furnishings and equipment listed below. All facilities, furnishings, materials and equipment provided and / or installed by the Contractor under this Contract shall remain the property of the Contractor at the completion of the Contract. 3.2.4.2 FEATURES a. This facility shall consist of a standard 8 ft. x 20 ft. conex fitted out and furnished as described below. The exterior dimensions shall be nominally 2.44M wide x 6.09M long x 2.6M high. Openings in container walls shall be cut in such a manner as to maintain the structural integrity of the container. b. The following features and services shall be included: 1. The interior walls and ceiling of the container shall be framed out with 38mm x 89mm wood or steel studs spaced at 600mm on center with 13mm gypsum board; 2. The interior floors shall be framed out with 38mm x 89mm wood or steel studs spaced at 400mm on center with 16mm plywood; 3. The floor finish shall be 3mm thick linoleum; 4. Walls, floor, and ceiling shall be insulated with 89mm R-13 fiberglass batt insulation; 5. The exterior metal color shall be tan semi-gloss; 6. One (1) exterior metal door with door lock, lockable by key from both inside and outside; 7. Two (2) operable windows; 8. All hardware shall have satin chrome or satin stainless steel finish; 9. Connection to power operating 24 hours per day, 7 days a week; 10. One (1) new split pack heat pump (12,000 BTU), securely mounted; 11.
