Pupils should be able to read, understand phrases and sentences in
linear and non linear texts.

By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to :
i. Pupils can read the sentences
ii. Pupils can identify characteristic of a fruits by list down at least
4 characteristics correctly in paper.

Identify a fruits. 1. Teacher shows a vegetables and
fruits poster in board
2. .Teacher ask pupils which one is

3. Teacher draw a two column, first
is fruits, and second column is
vegetables.
4. Teacher asks pupil randomly to
write correctly category in the
column.
5. Teacher check the answer with
pupils.
6. Teacher ask pupils about their
favourite fruits.

2. I want you to complete the column
with a correct category.
3. What is your favourite food?
