CAREER OBJECTIVE:

Aspiring to acquire knowledge and new skills in the areas of (i) Parallel Computing
(ii) Big Data Analyses and (iii) Cryptography and Data Compression Techniques.
Have a deep desire to pursue and acquire Master of Science from a leading university
from United States of America.

FAMILY AND ENVIRONMENT BACKGROUND:

Born and brought up with upper middle class family, I am blessed with serious
minded parents who were well-qualified to guide me in every steps of my life.
Education has been given the prime importance though which a decent and knowledge
acquiring life is being pursued in all our families.

My father being a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from US and also pursuing R&D at
premier institutions at India, has always been my guiding post; my mother being a
State Bank Manager was like a busybee managing both home and office cores
efficiently. They were my cynosures.

The family having a heritage of music and dance as our great and grand fathers was
practicing musicians and dance choreographers, music was in our blood. The early
periods were busy with play, music and education.

Living in Bangalore, India, an IT hub for the world since 1990s, it has been
computers at first sight ever since I started games, painting and subsequently
programming in computers. I have also realized that I have the innate ability to look
for functional nuances of instruments and electronic devices easily. This prompted
my parents early on to enroll me for to learn the basics of computers, assembling of
computers and other computer programming skills. That early exposure has now
matured into a passion for life.

It is but natural for me to aspire for higher studies as the background was most apt for.

1. Period 2008-2009: (One of the Members of Team of Two)

Project: Developed a rudimentary Database using a Brute-Force technique
Created a Database for storing Football Teams and Players
Developed codes to modify insert and search
Integrated a graphical interface utility

2. Period 2009-2010: (one of the members of Team of 3)

Project: Website Development for College festival SCIENCEFEST 2010-11" and
ATMATRISHA-2013
Used HTML & PHP to modify existing Flash template in 2011
Developed my own flash template for 2013.
Implemented and set up pages using GOOGLEDOCS.

3. Period 2010-2011: (one of the members of Team of 3)

Project: Hoffmann Data Compression Algorithm implementation for text files
Main aim was to implement the algorithm using tree structure

4. Period 2011-2012: (one of the members of Team of 4)

Project: Implementation of RSA Algorithm for encryption of files of multiple types
such as pdf, mp3, png

5. Period 2012-2013 : (one of the members of Team of 3)
Project: Familiarized the flow of program of the binary utility, obj dump, as an
assignment

6. Summer of 2012: (Mini-Project at GE-Healthcare 6 weeks)
Project: Design of user interface in JAVA so as to help work with USB to RS232
Converter
8. Period 2013-14 : (one of the members of team of 3 )
Project: Detecting centrality of a vertex in a given twitter network based on
re-tweets as a part of project in Big Data course.Involved familiarization with
installation and use of Hadoop.
9. Period 2013-14 : (one of the members of team of 3)
Project: The final project as a part of UG coursework. It is on searching and
mining irregular time series subsequences.It is guided by GE Healthcare. We are
experimenting with methods such as interpolation(smoothing spline)or Lomb
Scargle periodogram in order to repair irregular data and mine for subsequences
10. Period 2013-14 : (internship at intel)
Project : Developing responsive web application using angularjs and bootstrap CSS
for internal use in the company

PERSONAL SKILLS:

Comprehensive problem solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication
skills, ability to deal with people diplomatically, willingness to learn, a smooth team
member and a hard worker.

EXTRA CURRICULAR:
Wicket Keeper of school cricket team.
