CONNECTI ON OF PI PES
(1) The c onnec t i on met hods I ncl ude:
1. dn.110, adopt thermal-fusion socket connection or electro-fusion connection.
2. dn110, adopt thermal thermal-fusion butt joint or electro-fusion connection.
3. Connection to the metal pipes, adopt flange connection or transition fitting connection.

(2) Ther mal Soc ket Connec t i on
When adopting this method, use thermal welding machine. Here under the specific
procedures:
Check the pipe surface to see whether it is damaged, clean all the burrs attached on the incision.
Measure the depth of the socket, mark on the pipe surface.
To ensure the new layer of the nozzle, chamfer the nozzle, the angle should be 30,
the length of surface groove not exceed 2.0mm
Clean up the socket.
Inser t the pipe and fitting in the heater, heat
up the jointing part.
Pull out the pipe and fitting when it reaches
scheduled warm-up time, insert the pipe into the
fitting socket evenly and swiftly.
Do not proceed with next operation until the pipe
And fitting reaches scheduled cooling time.

1. When adopting this method, use thermal fusion butt welding machine, the specific
procedures are as following:
Clamp down
the pipe on the
jig of the welding
machine
Clean up the
connection part
and milling the
connection side.
Adjust the
joining parts,
make the
Misplacement
less than 10%
of the wall
thickness.
Put the
heating panel
Pull out the heating panel when finishing heating
J oin the two heating parts swiftly, increase pressure
to the fusion-joint pressure and keep the pressure until
it cools down.
Thermal-fusion is completed.

(4) El ec t r o-f usi on Joi nt .
The advantage of E/F joint lies
in its swift and convenient
installation, in addition, under
tough operation situation or
pipes with small diameter, it is
more economic to adopt E/F
joint method, and here are the
procedures.







Clean up the connection part, mark the inserting depth, scrape and polish the joint surface
Insert the E/F fitting in the pipe.
Fix the pipe in the stand, adjust the jointing parts and make it in a straight line.
When given electric currency for a certain time, the joint part of PE pipe and fitting will be heated
and melted, E/F is completed once there is melt flowing out of the observation hole.
Cooling.

Use flange or thread when connecting with metal pipes and valve or water meter.
