CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN Packaging Development & Quality Control FOR MSc Bio Anlytical Students
OBJECTIVE In the present day global scenario Packaging has become an integral part of our lives as everything needs to be packaged to reach it to the customer. Every production line ends up with packaging activity. So much so this discipline has grown into a SPECIALITY APPLIED SCIENCE. Today's younger generation has to pursue professional course to build up a good career. For all these professional courses in Science and Technology, knowledge of Packaging is very relevant as it helps to horn the skill of the student and perform better in the industry. While the professional course they have pursued helps to acquire knowledge in the subject, knowledge of packaging fine tunes this knowledge by making it complete. These students need not become specialists in packaging science & technology, but should be aware of the salient features as it helps them to understand their own discipline comprehensively.
With this in view G N Khalsa College (GNIRD) has proposed to offer an additional knowledge to the students of MSc Nutra and MSc Bioanalytical a basic certificate course in Packaging Science and Technology..

ASSESSMENT By Written Examination + Viva Voce (Total 100 marks) Written - Theory - 50 marks (2hrs) + Objective - 30 marks (1hr) followed by Viva Voce - 20 Marks (15 minutes)
RECOGNITION The successfully passing students will be awarded Certificate under the GN Khalsa Banner.
DELIVERABLES Students would get an awareness of the significance of Packaging and hands-on experience in Compatibility, migration, sensory evalution and accelerated shelf life studies by horning their skills and making them more competitive in their career.
