Lesson aims :- to check Ss knowledge of some vocabulary areas and grammar that were taught
-To develop writing and speaking skills
-To practise different grammar stuctures : The Present Tense Simple, The Present
Continuous, The Future with will , The past tense simple etc

ACTIVITY 1 Warmer : Find the lie
Aims: -to lead the Ss into the lesson atmosphere
-To break the ice
Procedure :
Teacher asks the students to write on small pieces of paper three pieces of information about
themselves . Two of these bits of information must be true and one is a lie.
Ss stand up and hold their pieces of paper in front of the class. They should walk around the
classroom read the information about people and they have to guess which statement is a lie .

ACTIVITY 2 Check-up homework
Teacher invites Ss to read the homework and corrects them if necessary .

ACTIVITY 3 Review of students vocabulary
Aims :- to summarize Ss vocabulary related to names of sports, greetings , school objects , rooms ,
clothes , weather etc.
Procedure :
Teacher divides the class into six groups . Teacher asks the groups to write as many words as they
can for each list referring to a different topic for each group . The group which finds the most words
for a topic is the winner.
SS read aloud their lists, if necessary the teacher corrects them .

ACTIVITY 4 Classwork
Aims : -to check up Ss vocabulary
Procedure : Using as a suport some vocabulary exercises from the textbook , the teacher reminds
the Ss to write the name of same dictionary definitions and to add as many words as they can to
each list.
Ss pay attention to the teacher and perform the task.
Interaction: Ss-Ss, T-Ss

ACTIVITY 5 Practice
Aim: to check up and revise some grammar topics from the previous chapter
-To refresh their memory
- To clarify the possible uncertainties

Procedure:
The teacher divides the class into 6 groups .T he teacher gives each group a a large piece of paper
and a marker. The teacher tells each group to write what they know about a different topic.
The teacher asks the Ss to work together and and to help each other. After finishing , the teacher
asks the Ss to put their papers on the classrooms walls so that everybody could see them.
The teacher tells the Ss from each group to rotate, visiting each work , to make notes and correct if
necessary .
After doing that, each group of Ss goes to its work and observes the notes made by their colleagues.
Ss solve the task.

Activity 6 Language in use
Aim:to check-up if the Ss know the right beginning, middle and the end part of a letter.
SS are given a letter with the lines in the wrong order and Ss have to re-order it.

Activity 7 Assigning homework
Procedure:
Teacher gives Ss to complete a worksheet as homework and exercise 3/92 from the textbook.
Ss take notes.
