carrying out business specialized in PE pipeline installations for Chilled
Water Pipelines, Plumbing, Potable Water and Fire-fighting sectors with a
comprehensive range of products designed to be competitive and of
assured quality.
Our main areas of activity extend across the entire range of supply,
installation and commissioning of High Density Polyethylene, PPR pipe-
lines and also supply & hire of Butt Fusion & Electro Fusion welding
machines with Certified Welders.
The quality of the products is certified by testing institutes which are
internationally recognized.

FM APPROVED PIPES AND FITTINGS
TANGENT offers a complete PE 100 SDR 11 FM approved piping system for 12 bars
(175 psi) underground fire fighting pipelines (PE pipes and fittings for underground
fire protection equipment according to FM 1613).
FM Global approves industrial products and services, moreover their activities help to
avoid material damages. Underground installed PE 100 fire fighting pipelines that
have to accomplish elevated requirements are one of those activities.
Manufacturers of FM approved products are allowed to place FM approved" labels
onto their products. The obvious advantage is the higher safety of the system. Studies
showed that FM approved products which were installed according to FM Global
installation guidelines reduce the risk of material damages.

Self aligning hydraulic butt fusion machine, suitable for welding under pressure pipes for water, gas
and other fluids from 20mm upto 1200mm.

Hydrostatic Pressure Testing:
Subsequent to pipe installation, pressure testing needs be conducted on the entire
network.
The pipe that has been joined, needs to be filled with water, carefully bleeding off
any trapped air.
The pipe is subjected to a hydrostatic test pressure that is 1.5 times the system design
pressure for a maximum of 3 hours. During this time, water is added periodically
to maintain the test pressure; this compensates for the initial stretching of the pipe.
The line pressure tightness is determined by visual observation; therefore, it is not
necessary to measure the make-up water.
Every fused joint must be examined; any leakage must be repaired and then retested.
