Sept ember 2, 2014 We begi n Sept ember w i t h posi t i ve w eek l y c har t s.

The five major equity averages ended last week and the month of August above their five-week
modified moving averages at 16857 Dow Industrials, 1965.7 S&P 500, 4450 Nasdaq, 8275 Dow
Transports and 1153.65 Russell 2000.
The Nasdaq was the major average that prevented a sell signal by staying overbought. It remains
overbought but now the other four major averages have rising 12x3x3 weekly slow stochastics.

The all-time or multiyear intraday highs are 17153.80 (Aug 26) Dow Industrials, 2005.04 (Aug. 26)
S&P 500, 4580.27 (Aug. 29), 8515.04 (J uly 23) Dow Transports, and 1213.55 (J uly 1) Russell 2000).
New weekly and monthly value levels are 16690 and 16615 Dow Industrials, 1978.2 and 1954..8 S&P
500, 4469 and 4444 Nasdaq and 1149.70 and 1092.55 on the Russell 2000.

I did not list Dow Transports in the last paragraph as I consider its weekly and monthly levels as pivots
at 8326 and 8410 which are between quarterly and semiannual pivots at 8256 and 8447. This
observation makes transports the fulcrum of volatility in September.

There are other pivots that suggest choppy trading in September. Theres a quarterly pivot at 4569 on
the Nasdaq and a semiannual pivot at 1139.81 on the Russell 2000.

Semiannual and annual value levels remain at 16301, 14835 and 13437 Dow Industrials, 1789.3,

and 966.72 and 879.39 Russell 2000.

Quarterly and semiannual risky levels remain at 17753 and 18522 Dow Industrials, 2052.3 and 2080.3
