ADVERTISEMENT 

Director,  RCUES,  invites  applications  from  suitable  candidates  for  the  post  of  Livelihood 
Specialists to work in all districts in the state of Andhra Pradesh including mission cities under 
IKP‐Urban on contract basis. 

1.  Institution  Building  Specialist  (Both  for  District  Specialists  &  Junior 

Specialists (District Level) 
 

Qualification: Post Graduate in Social Work or Sociology, age below 45 years.  

Experience :  (1)  At least 8 years of experience for District Specialist & 5 years for Jr. Specialist 
(District level) in formation and nurturing of Self Help Groups (SHGs) and their federations in 
rural and / or urban areas, i.e., VOs / Mandal Samakhyas / ZS and Slum Level Federation (SLFs) 
and  Town  Level  Federation  (TLFs)  respective.    (2)  The  individual  must  have  undergone 
trainings  in  various  aspects  of  Community  Based  Organizations  (CBOs)  strengthening  like 
Participatory  Training  Methodology  (PTM),  Poverty  &  SHG  concepts,  federation  concepts, 
Gender,  etc.    (3)  The  individual  must  have  experience  in  imparting  training  to  various  CBOs, 
i.e.,  member  of  SHGs  and  their  federations.    (4)  The  individual  must  be  willing  to  work 
nywhere  in  the  state.    (5)  The  individual  must  have  proficiency  in  computer  applications  like 
MS Office. (6) The individual must have fluency in Telugu (Reading, Writing and Speaking).  (7) 
Experience of working with Community Base Organization (CBO) of Persons with Disabilities 
(PWDs) will be preferred.  (8)  The individual must have passion for social development. 

Remuneration :  District Specialist – Rs.18,000/‐ PM. (including all)  and 

                 Junior Specialist at District level – Rs.13,000/‐ PM (including all) 

  

 
 2.  Livelihood Specialist: (Both for District Specialists and Hyderabad) 
 

Qualification    :  Master Degree in Social Sciences / Business Management / 

        Economic Development 

Age      :  Below 45 years 

Experience:  At least 3 years of experience in relevant field, preferably at both 
state  and  local  government  level;  (2)  Have  familiarity  with 
alternative  approaches  in  supporting  sustainable  livelihoods  is 
desirable;    (3)  Preference  would  be  given  for  the  individuals 
having  experience  in  implementation  in  urban  livelihood 
programmes;  (4)    The  individual  must  be  willing  to  work 
anywhere in the state;  (5)  The individual must have proficiency 
in computer applications like MS Office;  (6) The individual must 
have fluency in Telugu (Reading, Writing and Speaking);  (7) The 
individual must have passion for social development. 

Remuneration   :  District Specialist – Rs.15,000/‐ PM (including all) and 

        Junior Specialist   ‐ Rs.13,000/‐ PM (including all)
