2014 Fall Fundraiser with Circus Mojo
JFB students will attend an assembly on Friday, August 29
th
to kick off our 2014 Fall
Fundraiser. After years of partnering with outside vendors, the PTO has again
decided to do an in house fundraiser where we will keep 100% of the profits!
Last year, the students exceeded our goal of $10,000. Lets see if we can reach that
goal again this year! We are asking each child to do his or her best in helping us
reach our goal. As a thank you and to celebrate their best effort, we will be treating
every child to a school-wide assembly featuring Circus Mojo on October 3
rd
.

Membership Drive and School Directory Update
Thank you to everyone who has already turned in
PTO membership dues! We are off to a great start!
Mr. Devores class is currently in the lead with 57%
participation, followed closely by Mrs. Roewer and
Mrs. Mohrs classes, which are tied at 52% each.
Theres still time for other classrooms to pull
ahead, so return your form and dues today!
Your $5 dues will help support the many in-school
programs that your child will participate in this
year. In return, you will receive a school directory.
Join by September 5 to be entered into a drawing
to win one of three great prizes. The class with the
highest participation will win a popcorn party!
Please fill out the membership form and return to
school by September 5th. Thanks for your support!

Help Wanted
Are you interested in becoming more involved with your childs school
this year? We have many different ways you can help out, ranging from
clipping the Box Tops from your own food packaging, to coordinating one
of our many after-school enrichment programs, to donating an item for
Teacher Appreciation, to filling an open spot on our JFB PTO Governing
Board. Some projects are quick, one-time opportunities while others
have a longer commitment. No previous experience is required! Please
contact Shannon Russell if youd like to learn more!

Calling All Photographers!
We are always looking for some great pictures to share
on our Facebook page and in our yearbook! If you have
taken some share-worthy shots, please consider sending
them our way! For posting on our Facebook page, send
an email to Corresponding Secretary Robyn Cron. For
consideration for a spot in the yearbook you can upload
your pics directly to the Lifetouch portal and our
Yearbook Editor, Amie Kocher, will get a copy!
JFB Spiritwear

Our spiritwear SWAT van was a huge success at paperwork/fee day earlier this month! Dont worry if you
werent able to make it. New this year, JFB spiritwear is available year-round from BlackOutTees.com! A portion
of the purchase price goes towards funding projects and programs sponsored by the JFB PTO, so order your
spiritwear today!
