SUMMER TRAINING

1. SJVNL SHIMLA

PROJECT: Overview of the construction and electromechanical working of hydropower plant.

Duration: 6 weeks

Description: This training aimed to provide a sufficiently detailed version of the principle,
construction and generation of the 412 MW hydroelectric power in Rampur which is in tandem
operation with Nathpa Jhakri 1500 MW project of which the operation was analyzed.

2. BHEL, HARIDWAR

PROJECT: STATOR COILS MANUFACTIRING.

Duration: 30 Days

Description: Coil and insulation manufacturing block was allotted which intended to
demonstrate the class B Bituminous insulation of the stator coils which are manufactured in
two parts i.e. the upper and the lower bars.

3. DOORDARSHAN, KASAULI

PROJECT: THE CONCEPT OF COMMUNICATION OF CHANNELS TO VARIOUS USERS.

Duration: 15 Days

Description: A brief cognition about the satellite communication and the transmission of the
doordarshan channels to various users was imparted.
