PEDAL CYCLE IS A BICYCLE, TRICYCLE OR QUADRUCYCLE

,ore persons ridin' pedal ccles shall no# o)er#a*e ano#her )ehicle

.) No person ridin' or sea#ed on a pedal cycle on a p!"lic road shall

/) No person ridin' a pedal cycle on a p!"lic road shall deli"era#el
ca!se s!ch pedal ccle #o s+er)e $ro, side #o side-
0) No person ridin' a pedal cycle on a p!"lic road shall carr #hereon
an person, ani,al or o"1ec# +hich o"s#r!c#s his or her )ie+ or +hich
pre)en#s hi, or her $ro, e(ercisin' co,ple#e con#rol o)er #he
,o)e,en#s o$ s!ch pedal cycle.
2) A person ridin' a pedal cycle on a p!"lic road shall do so +i#h a#
leas# one hand on #he handle3"ars o$ s!ch pedal ccle-
4) 5hene)er a por#ion o$ a p!"lic road has "een se# aside $or !se "
persons ridin' pedal cycles, no person shall ride a pedal cycle on an
o#her por#ion o$ s!ch road-
6) A person ridin' a pedal cycle on a p!"lic road or a por#ion o$ a
p!"lic road se# aside $or !se " persons ridin' pedal cycles, shall do
so in s!ch ,anner #ha# all #he +heels o$ s!ch pedal cycle are in
con#ac# +i#h #he s!r$ace o$ #he road a# all #i,es-

%) No person shall on a p!"lic road carr a passen'er on a ,o#or
ccle !nless s!ch ccle has an en'ine +i#h a clinder capaci#
e(ceedin' 08 c!"ic cen#i,e#res and !nless s!ch passen'er is sea#ed
in a side3car or as#ride on a pillion a##ached #o s!ch ccle and, in s!ch
la##er e)en#, #he $ee# o$ #he passen'er are res#in' on $oo#3 res#s
s!i#a"le $or #ha# p!rpose-
.) S!"1ec# #o #hese pro)isions, no# ,ore #han #+o persons shall ride
!pon a ,o#or ccle on a p!"lic road, e(cl!din' a person ridin' in a

a##ached #o a ,o#or ccle on a p!"lic road-

dri)er #hereo$9 &ro)ided #ha# an o"1ec# o$ a non3"!l* na#!re ,a "e
so carried i$ sec!rel a##ached #o #he ,o#or ccle, ,o#or #riccle or
,o#or 7!adr!ccle or placed in a s!i#a"le carrier $i##ed #hereon $or #ha#
p!rpose and carried in s!ch a +a as no# #o o"s#r!c# #he dri)er:s )ie+

#ra$$ic lanes, each s!ch lane shall, $or #he p!rposes o$ #his para'raph,
