data in a standardi3ed 2ay 4suc1 as t1e 5ttri)utes of +ualitati%e inspection
c1aracteristics6 defect types6 or 'sage Decision7. Codes are used in 'sage Decisions
for inspection lots.
Catalogs are organi3ed in a 1ierarc1ical structure. 8ne can define Code Group and
Codes for eac1 catalog type. -1ese include explanatory text t1at can )e created in
different languages.

5 catalog contains uni+ue6 non;nu,eric data stored at t1e client 4Code Groups7 or
plant le%el 4Selected Sets7.

t1e sa,e 1ierarc1ical le%el. Code groups6 1o2e%er6 are defined at t1e client le%el<
21ile selected sets are defined at t1e plant le%el. -1e catalog 1ierarc1y is as
