EFFECTIVE PRAYER!
Prayer has NO substitutes!
It does not matter how many other meetings you
attend, it can never replace the time you spend in
prayer.
Jesus said that men ought always to pray, and not
faint (Luke 18:1).
You cannot always stand. You cannot always sit. You
cannot always walk. You cannot always eat. But you
can always pray!

Gods acquaintance is not made by quick visits. The
value of prayer can never be measured by the clock!
I saw something in the scripture that will help you to
pray effectively.
The attacks of the enemy often come more intensely
when you take time to pray.
While praying the devil will lay many accusations
against you such as, you are not good enough,
your prayer will not be answered, or why must
God hear you when you do not love your brother?

Now the armour of God is mentioned just before we
are told to pray with all prayers and supplication in
the Spirit (Eph. 6:18)

This is what the Lord ministered to me. The armour
is not something you actually put on, not even
spiritually. It is describing the position we stand in as
believers especially when we pray. Let me break it
down for you.

When you pray you must be in Truth. It means you
must be truthful with God. When you stand before
Him there can be no pretense!

When you pray you must be Righteous. This means
you must be in right standing with Him because He
hears the prayers of the righteous (1 Peter3:12)



When you pray you must be at Peace. This
means you must be confident that God who
hears your prayers will answer and deliver
you. The time of prayer requires no anxiety
or stress.

When you pray you must be in Faith. It is
faith that pleases God. You cannot pray
without faith, otherwise why would you
pray? Remember that the devil is the
accuser.

When you pray it is because you know that
you are Saved! You are praying with a
renewed mind. Not led by the flesh but by
the Spirit.

When you pray you decree and declare His
Word. It is when you bring Him in
remembrance of His word. He said to Isaiah,
let us plead together.

The enemy will throw all kinds of things
against you when you pray and that is why
you must be positioned knowing who you
are, having no issues in your heart against
anyone, and be free from sin.
