Voice of JITO
Message from President Shri Mo lal Oswal
We should be grateful to our elders and the
society for the invaluable legacy of
knowledge, culture and heritage. This legacy
has con nually revitalized our civiliza on
through the ages.
If society has given you everything that you desired;
shouldn't you ask the ques on "What can I give back?"
I feel it is my duty to give something back to the society
without expecta on of any return.
I have seen lots of people donate money, but they ask for
something in return. That is business, not charity. There
are many presentday challenges poverty, educa on,
health.

Message from Secretary General Shri Rakeshh Mehta

Dear JITO Bandhu,
It is said that me ies & further good mes
gets over very fast. At JITO an even ul year
is coming to an end and we are awai ng an
exci ng new year. It may be recalled that the
journey of JITO commenced with the grant of license on
21st Jan 2007. You will be glad to know that JITO Board has
therefore rightly decided to observe 21st Jan as the
Founda on Day of JITO, on which day every year we can
take stock of our achievements and rededicate ourselves for
undertaking new ini a ves. It will be in the tness of the
things that Founda on day is celebrated at the level of each

We have huge number of temples for our spirituality.

Many of them are world class pieces of art. I believe that
instead of building new temples of god, our world would
be be er if we build new temples of educa on.
There are so many Jain ins tu ons; NGOs, Civilsociety
groups, dedicated social ac vists who are rendering
invaluable service to the en re world. Many corporate
groups are beacons of corporate social responsibility. They
work for the greater common good knowing that a
sustainable world where basic human needs are fullled
is the only way to ensure global peace, well being and
prosperity.
There is nothing as sa sfying as giving back. Lets strengthen
JITO pla orm for us to carry out many of our social
obliga ons.
Chapter to strengthen our bonds and maintain our global
character.
Each Chapter is therefore expected to celebrate the
Founda on Day in a be ng manner. Since 21st Jan
happens to be Tuesday, chapters may propend or
postponed the func on of the forthcoming 6TH
FOUNDATION DAY on preceding or succeeding weekends
to enable all members to par cipate. We have also
requested the Founda on Day Commi ee headed by
Shri Utkarsh Shah to give some guideline so that everyone
can follow the same line. JITO at Apex level will be happy
to receive a brief report of the celebra on at each chapter
to enable it to callout the good points from each chapters
reports and then circulate the summary amongst all the
Chapters for emula on.
