Certifcation Vouchers

You can obtain your exam vouchers online through the Microsoft IT Academy Program
members website under the My Academy section. Three types of certifcation vouchers are
offered, including Microsoft Offce Specialist (MOS), Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), and
Microsoft Certifed Educator (MCE).
Microsoft Offce Specialist (MOS) Certifcation Tracks
MOS is the world-recognized standards-based certifcation credential chosen by individuals
seeking to validate their skills in using the full feature set and functionality of the Microsoft Offce
suite. MOS offers three levels of certifcation, depending on your skill level and interest.

As a beneft of your Microsoft IT Academy Program membership, you
receive the Teacher Starter Kit including up to 30 certifcation exam
vouchers to help you prepare to teach the technologies and topics.

Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certifcation Tracks
MTA certifcation validates fundamental technology concepts in IT Infrastructure, Database, and
Software Development, helping students stand out when submitting college, internship, and IT
employment applications.
Microsoft Certifed Educator (MCE) Certifcation
The MCE certifcation validates that educators have the global educator technology literacy
competencies needed to provide a rich, custom learning experience for students. MCE
certifcation is ideal for educators-in-training, faculty or teacher training colleges, and in-service
educators.
Prepare for the Certifcation
As a Microsoft IT Academy member, you have access to a large number of online and
downloadable resources to help you prepare at your own pace. Follow the steps below to take
advantage of this valuable beneft:
1. Choose which Certifcation track you wish to take (MOS, MTA or MCE).
2. Use the table on the next page to understand the learning materials you have available to
you through the IT Academy Program.
3. Contact your IT Academy Program Administrator to request an exam voucher code online
OR if you are already a Certiport Testing Center, download as inventory to your testing
site.
4. Find your nearest Certiport Testing Center and book your exam at www.certiport.com OR
become a Certiport Testing Center so you can offer this onsite service to your teachers and

and follow the Six Steps to becoming a Testing Center.
