3.9% Ligt ale with fresh taste & citrus aroma. Named after a fishing fly used for luring trout, this blonde ale has a refreshing palate due to the use of high quality pale ale malt. 4.2% This Pale Ale takes its name from the castle built by King John in 1207 less than 1 mile from the brewery, and from where he rode out to Runnymeade to sign the Magna Carta. The beer itself is deep amber in colour with a blend of pale ale and crystal malt, the bitterness and fruity aroma are developed from a combination of hops.
4.2% Our Hoppy Golden Ale is brewed as a traditional English session bitter, using a good balance of American Summit and Cluster hops gently added late in the boil, and a touch of roasted barley to give it an inviting copper colour.

This is an "all malt" single hop brew using freshly harvested Sussex Fuggles, together with our own spring water combine to give a "taste of the South Downs".
