1.0 Introduction
1.1 Definition of Computer Networks
Computer network means as computer devices that interconnected by
communications channels that facilitate communications. Furthermore, a computer
network is a collection of two or more computers linked together for the purposes of
sharing information, resources, among other things. It functions in allowing share of
resources and information among interconnected devices.

1.2 Definition of Computer Communications
Communication means as the purpose of a computer communications network that
allows moving information from one point to another point inside the network. The
communication information could be stored on a device, such as personal computer in
the network. It functions ingenerate live outside the network, such as speech, or could
be generated by a process on another piece of information, such as automatic sales
transactions at the end of a business day.

3.0Internet Technology and Services
3.1 VolP

Short for Voice over Internet Protocol. A protocol for transmitting the human voice in
digital form over the Internet or other networks as an audio stream, instead of using
traditional telephone lines. VoIP uses the Internet Protocol (IP), but is not limited to
communication by computer even phone-to-phone communication can be conducted
using this technology.

3.2 BLOG

A blog (a contraction of the words web log) is a discussion or informational site
published on the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete entries ("posts")
typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent post appears first).

4.0 Types of network
4.1 PAN

A personal area network (PAN) is a computer network used
for communication among computerized devices, including telephones and personal
digital assistants. PANs can be used for communication among the personal devices
themselves (intrapersonal communication), or for connecting to a higher level
network and the Internet (an uplink).

4.2 VPN

A virtual private network (VPN) extends a private network across a public network,
such as the Internet. It enables a computer to send and receive data across shared or
public networks as if it were directly connected to the private network, while
benefiting from the functionality, security and management policies of the private
network.

4.3 WLAN

Wireless local area network (WLAN) links two or more devices using some wireless
distribution method (typically spread-spectrum or OFDMradio), and usually
providing a connection through an access point to the wider Internet. This gives users
the mobility to move around within a local coverage area and still be connected to the
network.

4.4 WIMAX

WiMAX is a wireless communications standard designed for creating metropolitan
area networks (MANs). It is similar to the Wi-Fi standard, but supports a far greater
range of coverage.

5.0 Conclusion
Computer networks gave many advantages and also benefited to the various fields of
educational sectors like school, business world in company and many organizations.
Furthermore, everyone in all entire the world can connect people all over the world. There are
major advantages which compute all the networks have provided making the human life more
relaxed in their life. Different computer networking technology has improved the way of
communications people from the same or different organization can communicate in daily
life.
