REGISTRATION & HOUSING INFO
Follow these instructions to register your
group for Warmth In Winter:
Each person attending Warmth In Winter must complete the
registration form and health form enclosed with this brochure. You
can make as many copies as necessary. Each individual health
form will be entered into a secure database at the Conference
office. This health form will need to be updated for future
conference events only if the participant’s health information
changes.
Use the enclosed Group Checkoff Form to confirm individuals who
have submitted their completed registration forms. Once you have
collected all of the forms, please send in your group’s registration
with the Group Checkoff Form, the individual Registration/Health
Forms, and check.
Registration is NOT complete for any individual who does not have a
completed health form in your submitted packet. All applicable late
fees will apply for those individuals whose forms are not submitted
with your group based on the date their forms are received at our
office.
Groups will not be registered without proper payment. Make check
payable to the Tennessee Conference.
REGISTRATION RATES:
$45 - Super Early Bird Rate -

$50 - Early Bird Rate -
Register before December 29, 2009
$55 - Really, I Am Coming Rate-
Register before January 20, 2010
$65 - Hope It's Not Too Late Rate-
After January 20, 2010
No refunds after January 15th. Registrations will not be
accepted after January 25th.
HOUSING: You are responsible for arranging housing for your
group. Hotels offering special rates near the Embassy Suites
Hotel and Convention Center are Hampton Inn, Comfort Suites,
and the Econo Lodge.
Fellowship United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro has
offered lock-in space at their church for $25/person that
includes breakfast each morning. Please contact Rev. Albert
Willis, Pastor of Students at 615-893-4659 for more
information and to reserve your space.
Other churches in the area may also offer their space. Contact
the church directly to make arrangements.

WnW LEADER’S GUIDE
After you have registered your group, you will receive a WnW
Leader’s Guide in the mail to confirm your registration. This guide
will have tips for a great weekend, ideas for saving money on meals,
and much more. There may also be an opportunity for you to win
free stuff hidden inside the guide.
LUNCH & DINNER
In an effort to be good stewards, we will not provide lunch and dinner
as a part of the event. Your group can choose from the multitude of
restaurants in the vicinity of the Embassy Suites Hotel. A map
including lunch and dinner suggestions will be provided in the WnW
Leader’s Guide.
BATTLE OF THE BANDS/FREE TIME
During free time this year there will be a Battle of the Bands. Each
District in the Tennessee Conference will hold a Battle of the Bands
competition to select a representative to perform at WnW during free
time. The band should consist of youth from a local church within the
district it is representing.
The Free Time design team is developing many other exciting free
time opportunities in and around the convention center.
WORKSHOPS & MISSIONS
Workshops will be offered on a wide variety of topics. You will
receive a listing of the workshops and a registration form for your
group members to indicate their choice. Each person should
choose two workshops to attend. A complete listing of the
workshops will be on www.tnumcyouth.org after December 11th.
Please plan to bring canned food and paper goods for a supply
drive for two pantry ministries that we will be supporting this year.
RESOURCE AREA
The resource area will include representatives from mission trip
organizations, youth ministry resources, colleges, and more.
Cokesbury will have a store onsite to purchase books, Bibles, and
much more.
YOUTH SERVICE FUND
The continued development of the Youth Service Fund is an
important part of the Warmth In Winter weekend. Last year,
$10,000 was contributed to the fund at Warmth In Winter. This
money awarded in grants to youth groups for service projects during
the 2009 summer.
DON’T FORGET THE T!SHIRT!
Place your order early for a one-of-a-kind 2010 Warmth In Winter
t-shirt. A limited supply will be available for sale at the event.
A t-shirt order form with the t-shirt design will be enclosed in your
WnW Leader’s Guide mailing.
WHERE’S IT HAPPENING, AGAIN?!
Our new location is the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention
Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This luxurious facility was
opened in September of 2008. We will be utilizing over 40,000
square feet of meeting space in the hotel and convention center
during the event.
All main sessions and Sunday worship will take place in the
Mirabella EF Grand Ballroom. Workshops and District meetings will
be held in break-out rooms in the center.
