Rows 4 to 6 form pattern. Continue repeating these rows until you reach desired length. (In this
case I had 6 repetitions, for a total length of approx. 10.5 to 11 inches)

Sleeves:
For the sleeve, join yarn at underarm, ch2 and work a row of hdc (as with the bodice). Continue
with pattern stitch or in rows of dc, as desired (both look nice) until desired length is reached. (6
to 6 inches from underarm to sleeve edge)
Cut yarn leaving enough length to sew sleeve closed.

Buttonhole band:
Work 1 row of sc
Work another row of sc, making 3 or 4 buttonholes evenly distributed in yoke area (to
make buttonhole, ch1, sk1, sc in next st.)
sc in every st and ch1 space
finish with a row of back stitch

Button band:
3 rows of single crochet and 1 row of back stitch
Sew buttons to correspond with buttonholes made
