Extend the understanding of engineering economics while developing a sophisticated financial model that evaluates the viability of a manufacturing company. 3. Prepare to become effective leaders in technology-based organizations. 4. Class Guideline/Rules: Please arrive at class on-time and turn off all cell phones, beepers, etc. This class will use web-based D2L (Desire to Learn) as the primary means for distributing class materials including assignments. Unless otherwise indicated, all projects and homework assignments must be uploaded into the D2L Dropbox. No late homework will be accepted. Regular attendance is required. Occasionally throughout the semester, you will be required to submit work completed during class. Classroom work cannot be made- up. Attendance on test days is required. In case of an emergency or serious illness, notify your instructor prior to the test. Tests will cover information from textbook and other reading material, lectures, topics discussed by guest speakers and concepts learned through assignments and projects. No extra credit is available. Always behave in an ethical manner. Treat your classmates, instructor and guest speakers with respect.
