10. A pass is counted if a player fumbles with the b all
but another team member catches it before

on the throwing team may catch it before the ball

SCORING
1. A point is awarded to a team if the ball touches the
ground on the opposing teams court
2. When the ball touches the ground on the servers or
throwers court, a point is awarded to the opposing
team
3. If a ball is thrown out of the court, the opposition is
awarded a point
4. If the ball is thrown into or under the net, the
opposition is awarded a point
5. There are three rounds
6. The game is won when a team reaches 15 points.
7. At the end of the tournament the team with the
most wins is the champion


RULES
SERVING
1. the serving player must be outside of the court
when serving. Once they have served they may
return to the court.
2. The ball must be served directly over the net

GENERAL PLAY
1. To decide which team serves first and what sides
each team will play on, a representative of each
team will play scissors, paper, rock against the
other.

GAME OUTLINE
Newcombe Ball is played in rotations of two teams.
The aim is to make the ball go over the net and touch the
ground on the opposing teams court. The opponents try
to intercept the ball and return it with the same purpose.
The game will be played in three rounds with the number
of balls on court increasing in each round. Each player
must serve the ball at least once per round.
