THE MAGIC KETTLE
An old doctor in 1887 travelled by horse a long way to a
small cottage. He was greeted by a young man who
brought him into the small hut. Inside, the young man
took out from his stash, $2,300. It was his lifes savings.
In exchange, the doctor gave him a small piece of paper
containing a recipe and an old kettle. What was on that
paper that was of such value that the young man was
willing to stake his lifes savings in exchange for?
