Saddam Hussein. o What was he accused of that led to war? Illegal oil. o When was the Iraqi president captured and convicted of during this war? Absolute Monarchy. • Why did this country make large financial contributions to the Iraqi war effort during the 1980’s? Feared they might become targets in the war. • What is the Taliban? A very big earthquake. What countries are considered the major trading partners with Turkey? Most countries in Europe are considered trading partners.
