Experience Founder, poem.ly 2014Present
Created an innovative social media campaign to help improve the quality of life of readers
through poetry, by way of a daily email newsletter. I designed, built, and continually maintain
the website and newsletter. This includes growing a loyal fan base through social media and
outreach; handpicking all content for subscribers; and curating an email newsletter daily.
Editor in Chief, AppAdvice.com 2012Present
As the Editor in Chief, I take responsibility and authority for all journalism at AppAdvice, a
well-established iOS app and associated website where we cover technology news and app
reviews and product reviews (with a focus on Apple). This includes hiring, managing,
organizing, and training a multi-departmental international writing sta#; personally curating the
site content; designing and creating narratives and social media campaigns; working with
analytics tools to quantify and qualify our viewers; engaging our large and committed
viewership with comment moderation and live blogging; and making rapid, correct, calm
decisions under time and budget pressures.
Additionally, Ive represented AppAdvice as the face of the company, both in social media
outlets and at conferences such as CES, MacWorld/iWorld, and SXSW.

Social Media Manager, 701 Gaming 20102011
Lead all social media e#orts across multiple platforms for this comedic indie Web series about
the life of two "professional gamers." Managed Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube accounts
during the entire run of the series for the show itself as well as for the actors; utilized
HootSuite, Tweetdeck, Socialite, and many other tools to aid in my e#orts. Also did all copy
editing, blogging, and marketing via email and forums to get the word out to our audience to
grow and maintain a fan base for the series and its actors.
