Conference Co-chairs ICWL is an annual international conference on web-based learning. The first ICWL
Qing Li, City U of Hong Kong was held in Hong Kong in 2002. Since then, it has been held in Australia (2003), China
Wolfgang Nejdl, U Hannover, (2004), Hong Kong (2005), Malaysia (2006) United Kingdom (2007), China (2008),
Germany and Germany (2009). The 9th ICWL event will be held in Shanghai, the largest city in
Wu Zhang, Shanghai U, China China full of culture and scenery. This conference aims at providing an in-depth study
of the technical, pedagogical, as well as management issues of Web-based learning.
PC Co-chairs ICWL2010 will bring together educators, researchers, technologists and implementers
Xiangfeng Luo, Shanghai U, China of Web-based learning from around the world to discuss the state of the art in this area.

PAPER SUBMISSION
Authors are invited to submit original papers reporting on research results or novel
applications in web-based learning. Papers for submissions should be formatted in
single column of no more than 10 pages in single line spacing for review. All papers
should be submitted in PDF format. All accepted papers will appear in a conference
proceedings to be distributed during the conference. All accepted full papers presented
in the conference will be published as a volume in Lecture Notes in Computer Science
(pending).

Special Issues
Authors of the best papers presented in this conference will be invited to submit
extended version of their papers for possible publication in special issues of major
international journals.
