The Artist & Leisure Painter magazines, create full- and double-page advertisements featuring the major art
material suppliers Daler-Rowney, Caran dAche and Derwent. Design and layout the Arts Courses & Holidays
and Explore Watercolour supplements. I produce all monthly house pages for Leisure Painter.
As senior designer at Marshall Cavendish I worked on a range of partworks from conception to completion, including:
Out & About featuring country walks, produced in association with Ordnance Survey. Whats it Worth? antique collecting
and restoration. Work involved complex picture and caption spreads. Quest a wacky, childrens science partwork.
The Health File a weekly family health partwork.
Art editor, 3D magazine for EMAP. A monthly controlled circulation magazine introducing CAD to architects and
designers. The magazine was fully colour separated on screen as early as 1989.
Chartered Institution of Building Service Engineers: designed the new Membership Brochure which was highly
praised by the trade journals.
Buro Happold: designed the winning Buro Happold bid submission for Heathrow Terminal 2 structural engineering.
Maps: produced Adobe Illustrator-originated maps for a series of military history books and arms control reports.
Corporate identity: work designed logos and marketing material for the British Kitchen Association, AfriCosmos Ltd,
The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers, Friends4Freedomand Ascending Angels.
