OUR VISION STATEMENT


Let God’s love shine in our lives as we care and share and learn together.

OUR STATEMENT OF AIMS For Our Children


At St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary School we nurture the children’s human wholeness
in their developing Christian lives by working with the children and with the support of their
parents to:

• Achieve a level of attainment in all academic subjects that compares well


with other schools;

• Achieve Spiritual and emotional wellbeing;


• Have confidence to set their own goals;
• Be effective communicators;
• Be able to problem solve for life skills; and
• Acquire skills for life which together with all the above will enable them to
make a positive contribution and achieve economic well being.

• Make successful transitions to, within and from our school;


Quality Of Learning

• Agree appropriate personal goals;


• Manage and enjoy their own learning;
• Become independent, self empowered, life long, learners;
• Know their own strengths and preferred learning styles;
• Understand how the above contribute to the five Every Child Matters
outcomes: Staying safe; Being healthy; Enjoying and achieving; Achieving
economic well being; and making a positive contribution.

• Make good use of their ‘pupil voice’ to express their opinions appropriately,
confident that they will be respected and valued;
• Facilitate the integration of all children according to their need;

• Demonstrate developing Social skills;

At St. Francis Xavier Catholic Primary School we believe that every child will succeed
