Our Goal: Strengthening the Local Church and Planting New Churches

The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few. Matthew 9:37

September 12, 2014

Dear Pastors and Supporters,

Thank you for your faithful monthly support for our ministry over the years. We appreciate your faith-promise
missions giving and your faithfulness to the Lords work. Many souls have been saved over the years because of
your investment in world missions. Thank you for pressing on even through the ups and down on your journey.

We, too, are continuing (by Gods grace) to press on for the Lord in the place here where He has called us. We
need to be reminded of the scripture, Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it. Continue to pray for us
to walk with the Lord, to walk in His ways, and to seek to do His will. We are trusting God to do so many great
and mighty things that are beyond our power.

We will send out another ministry update in a few weeks, but I want to let you know that our family is doing well.
Our oldest son B.J. is now 13 years old. He is a helper in a beginner Sunday School class (because of our lack of
workers), and the little children do absolutely love him! He also plays the trumpet on Sunday nights along with
the congregational singing. Our daughter Ashley (age 11) plays the piano during our invitation songs and she
plays the violin in our Sunday morning and evening services along with the congregational singing. Our son Eric
(age 9) likewise plays the clarinet in our services. Our daughter Jessica (age 7) is learning the piano along with the
three older ones; and we are really thankful for Gods grace in helping them to learn music. Our three youngest
children Rebecca (age 5), Jenna (age 3), and Steven (5 months) are all doing well.

Mom is homeschooling the five school-age children. So she is very busy caring for our family, as well as several
other things that she does for the Lord in our church each week.

Again, may I just say thank you for your financial support and prayers for our family and ministry! God uses those
things to sustain us, help us, and encourage us.

God bless you,

Brian and Rachel Johnston and Family
