EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project is about ERP practiced at XAVIENT, NOIDA. Of late, this tool of
any organisation can make it or break it, because out of every 500 ERP
implementation only 3 are successful, so it’s a tedious task and several problem
arises during implementation of ERP and also when it “goes live”.

Company has to take care of everything from planning to execution and even after
that, the findings about XAVIENT SOFTWARES here tells that the major
challenge is get the right fit and to prepare your people for that change.

So to know the same, that is how this tool is effectively used and utilized in
XAVIENT, I have conducted a research with the questionnaire as my information
gathering tool and I have analyzed the various factors.

 To find its’ acceptance level among employees


 To find the productivity improvement through implementation of ERP.
 Does existing ERP help employees in speeding their daily work?
 Do existing ERP worth the spending?
 To find its degree of integration provided by the product.

Research Design
The research was done by asking questions by the
employees of the company with the help of questionnaires.

Sampling
The convenience sampling technique will be used.

and its acceptance among the employees, so it was conducted in
XAVIENT only.

FINDINGS
• Employees are pretty satisfied with the performance of ERP in there company

• ERP is fully integrating all its important functional departments

• But the only problem is the complexity of ERP.

• It’s hard to learn and get start with an ERP.

• The efficiency is improved and future prospects are better.

• Various challenges are in the first attempt of ERP implementation which the
company faced.

• Cost is no doubt high, but XAVIENT feel that the benefits worth the price
given.

• Major challenge is to get right fit, and to prepare the people in the organisation
for that change.

LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

 Time limitation.

 The data given by the respondents cannot be said 100% reliable.

 The research is made only on the middle level management of the company,
lower level staff and top management has not been included.
