PEO Licence Process for

Internationally Trained Engineers (ITE) in Ontario


PEO Licence Requirements: *
Be at least 18 year old;
Be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada;
Be of good character;
Hold a undergraduate engineering degree from CEAB or Non
CEAB (Posses equivalent qualifications)
Successfully completed the PPE
Demonstrate minimum 48 months of verifiable, acceptable
engineering experience, at least 12 months acquired in Canada
under supervision of a P. Eng.
CEAB: Canadian

PPE: Professional
Practice Examination
Submit completed application for licence
Documents to accompany the application:
Bring original Transcripts, diplomas and degrees
Translation of original transcripts, diploma if original are not in English
Course description of the subjects (English translates made by the
applicant are acceptable)
Note: PEO accept application before the applicant has satisfied all the above
requirement
Copies of originals
will be accepted if
signed and signed
as a true copy of the
original by a
Canadian P. Eng.
Translation by
member of ATIO or
by a Canadian P.
Eng who must certify
that is fluent in both
languages. *
PEO Academic Requirements Committee (ARC)
(Applicants from a Non CEAB accredited program)
Applicant assigned to Confirmatory
Examination Program (CEP)
(Academic preparation appear to be similar to
CEAB program)
Applicant has at least 5 years of
engineering work experience
