Introduction
We congratulate you on the pur-
chase of your new device. You
have chosen a high quality product.
Familiarise yourself with the product before
using it for the rst time. In addition, please
carefully refer to the operating instructions
and the safety advice below. Only use the
product as instructed and only for the stated
areas of use. You should keep these instruc-
tions. If you pass the product on to anyone
else, please ensure that you also pass on all
the documentation with it.

General function
With the programmable Classic Model L
radiator control unit with a pre-programmed
7 GB
heating and temperature reducing program
which can be set individually, it is possible to
control the room temperature in a time-con-
trolled manner. The device moves a valve to
control the ow of heat to the radiator. The
programmable radiator control unit ts all
common radiator valves and is easy to install
- without discharging the heating water or
interfering with the heating system. The addi-
tional BOOST function enables the radiator
to be heated up quickly for a brief period of
time by opening the valve for 5 minutes. This
gives an immediate and pleasant feeling of
warmth in the room.

Intended use
The programmable radiator control unit is
used to control a conventional radiator valve.
Only operate the device in inside rooms and
avoid the inuence of moisture, dust and sun-
light or external heat radiation. Any type of

use other than that described in these operat-
ing instructions does not comply with the in-
tended use and leads to automatic exclusion
from warranty and liability claims. This also
applies in the case of conversions and modi-
cations. The devices are solely intended for
private use.

Safety Instructions for
batteries
Never recharge non-recharge-
able batteries and do not
short-circuit and / or open any
batteries. The battery may overheat, ignite
or explode. Never throw batteries into
re or water. The batteries may explode.

Inserting / replacing batteries
Pull o the battery compartment cover on
the underside of the device.
Insert 2 new LR6 (Mignon / A A) batteries
into the battery compartment with the
correct polarity.
Replace the battery cover and latch it in.

Note: The life span of new alkaline batteries
is approx. 3 years. A battery symbol in-
dicates that the batteries should be replaced.
After the batteries have been removed, you
should wait approx. 1 minute before inserting
the new batteries. Operation with rechargea-
ble batteries is not possible.

Setting the date and time
Note: If batteries are inserted or replaced,
the date and time is automatically requested
after a brief display of the rmware version
number.
Set the year, month, day, hour and min-
ute 3 with the selector dial 6 and con-
rm with OK 5 , see g. A. The motor
moves the control pin backwards during
the setting of the date and time.

The display of INS with the rotating
shows that the motor is still travelling back.
As soon as INS is displayed, the pro-
grammable radiator control unit can be
installed on the valve.
The weekly program and other settings
can be adjusted before installation. Press
the MODE key 7 for this, while INS is
shown in the display. You can nd more
details under Conguration menu.
After the programming has been com-
pleted, INS is shown again in the dis-
play and installation can take place.

Installation on the radiator
The installation of the programmable radiator
control unit is easy and can be performed
without discharging the heating water or inter-
fering with the heating system. Special tools or
switching o the heating are not required. The

control unit can be used universally and with-
out accessories for all valves with a thread
dimension of M30 x 1.5 mm from the most
common suppliers, such as for example

The programmable radiator control units can
be installed on Danfoss RA, Danfoss RAV and
Danfoss RAVL valves, by means of the adapters
and extension pins contained in the delivery.

Removing the old
thermostat head
Turn the thermostat head to the maximum
value 10 in an anticlockwise direction.
The thermostat head does not now press
on the valve spindle and it can therefore
be removed more easily (see g. B).
There can be dierent types of thermostat
head xing:

Union nut:
Screw the union nut anti-clockwise 13. Then
you can remove the thermostat head 11 .
Snap-on fastenings:
You can easily release thermostat heads
fastened in this way by turning the clo-
sure fastening/union nut a small amount
in an anticlockwise direction 12. Then you
can remove the thermostat head 11 .
Clamping screw connections:
The thermostat head is held by means of
a fastening ring, which is held together by
a screw. Release this screw and remove
the thermostat head from the valve 11 .
Screw connection with setscrews:
Release the setscrew and remove the
thermostat head 11 .

Adapters for Danfoss
Take care during installation that you do
not trap your ngers between the two halves
of the adapter!
One of the enclosed adapters is required for
installation on Danfoss valves. The arrangement
of the suitable adapter ring for the appropriate
valve can be found in the gures CF.
The Danfoss valve bodies have elongated
indentations 13 running all around, which
also ensure better seating of the adapter
after it has been latched into place.
Note: When installing, please ensure that
the spigots inside the adapter 14 are in the
same position as the indentations 13 on the
valve.
Screw the adapter, which ts the valve,
onto the valve until it clicks into place.

The RA and RAV adapters have been pro-
duced with pre-tension to aid better seating.
Use a screw driver during installation if neces-
sary and bend these gently upwards in the
area of the screw.
After they have been latched onto the
valve body, fasten the adapters with the
enclosed screw and nut (see g. C).
Note: When installing, please ensure
that the spigots inside the adapter 14 are
in the same position as the indentations 13
on the valve.
Latch the adapter, which corresponds to
the valve, completely onto the valve body.
With the RAV type of valve, the tappet exten-
sion 15 should be placed on the valve pin
before installation (see g. D).
Note: When installing, please ensure that the
spigots inside the adapter 14 are in the same
position as the indentations 13 on the valve.

The RAVL adapter does not have to be screwed
on (see g. E).
Note: When installing, please ensure that the
spigots inside the adapter 14 are in the same
position as the indentations 13 on the valve.
Retaining ring
The valves of a number of suppliers can ex-
hibit tolerance variations, which may lead to
the programmable radiator control unit being
seated too loosely on the valve. The stability
and seating on the valve can be improved by
using the enclosed retaining ring (see g. F).
Place the retaining ring 16 in the ange
or on the valve connection of the radiator
and screw the thermostat valve on.

Note: If the retaining ring can not be t-
ted, the stability is already sucient and
the ring is not required for the installation.

Adapting run
After the batteries have been inserted, the
motor rst travels back, during which INS
and the activity symbol are displayed. As
soon as INS without the activity symbol
is displayed, the programmable radiator
control unit can be installed. An adapting run
(AdA) is performed after installation to
adapt to the valve.
Place the programmable radiator control
unit on the valve.
Tighten the union nut rmly.
Press the BOOST key 5 , when INS is
shown in the display.

The intelligent radiator control unit carries out
a test run.
During this time AdA and the activity sym-
bol are shown in the display and operation
is not possible.
Note: If the adapting run is initiated before
installation, the motor similarly travels back to
the INS position. If an error message (F1,
F2, F3) is displayed, press OK and the motor
travels back to the INS position.

Start-up

Setting the weekly program
Up to 3 heating phases (7 switching time points)
can be set separately for each weekday in
the weekly program. The programming is done
for the selected days and temperatures must be
stored for a time period from 00:00 to 23:59.

Press the Menu key 7 longer than
3 seconds. PRO appears in the display.
Conrm with the OK key 5 .
DAY appears in the display. With the se-
lector dial can be selected an individual
weekday, all working days, the weekend or
the whole week (example working days).

Conrm with the OK key. The rst switching
time point is displayed (0:00), this can
not be changed. The heating times are
also displayed as bars.
Conrm with the OK key.

After this you can set the temperature which
is desired from 0:00 (example 17.0 C).

The next switching time point is displayed
(example 6:00). You can adjust this
individually.

Finally set the temperature which should
prevail from 6:00.
You can repeat this procedure until all the
other desired temperatures for the time
period from 0:00 to 23:59 have been
stored. If all 7 switching time points have
been allocated, 23:59 is displayed as
the nal switching point to be conrmed.
The temperature can also be changed in
Auto mode at any time via the selector dial.
The changed temperature is then retained
until the next switching time point.
Weekly program: examples
Up to 3 heating times (7 switching time points)
with individual temperature setting can be
stored for each weekday with the program-
mable radiator control unit.

Two heating phases from 6:00 to 9:00 and
from 17:00 to 23:00 for all weekdays alike
are saved as factory settings:
from 00:00 to 06:00 17.0 C
from 06:00 to 09:00 21.0 C
from 09:00 to 17:00 17.0 C
from 17:00 to 23:00 21.0 C
from 23:00 to 23:59 17.0 C
Note: Bars for switching time periods for
every second time interval are shown in the
display. With this example no bars for the
interval 0:00 to 6:00 are displayed. The bars

If a room is also to be heated at midday, the
programming can appear as follows:

Operating modes
By briey pressing the MODE key 7 , you can
change between the following 3 operating
modes (the operating modes can only be se-
lected after installation):
- Holiday function: Setting a tempera-
ture, which has to be maintained until a xed
point in time.
- Manu: Manual mode - the temperature is
set manually via the selector dial.
- Auto: Weekly program - automatic temper-
ature control corresponding to the saved
weekly program.

Conguration menu
Settings can be changed in the conguration
menu. The menu can be called up by pressing
the Menu key 7 for a longer time (longer
than 3 seconds). Menu items are selected with
the selector dial 6 and conrmed with OK 5 .
If you press the Menu key once more, this takes
30 GB
you back to the previous level. If there is no
further activation of the device for more than
65 seconds, the menu closes automatically.
You can perform the following settings:
PRO: Setting the weekly program (see
section Setting weekly program)
DAT: Changing the time and date
POS: Querying the current position of
the intelligent radiator control unit
DST: The automatic switching between
summer time and winter time can
be deactivated.
AER: Window open temperature and
setting the time for the automatic
temperature reduction during
ventilation
TOF: Setting the oset temperature
RES: Restoring the factory settings

Display content in
normal mode
Switching time periods, operating mode, tar-
get temperature and week day are displayed
in normal mode. The bars for the switching
time periods of the weekly program are dis-
played for every second time interval (see ex-
ample under Weekly program: examples).

BOOST function
The BOOST function uses the human percep-
tion of warmth. When activated, the heating
valve is immediately opened to 80% for
5 minutes (factory setting).

The heating of a room takes longer than
5 minutes, but the heat given o by the radia-
tor can be felt immediately. If you are coming
home earlier and want to have heat quickly,
or if you need extra heat in the morning for a
bath, then the BOOST function will help you.
Press the BOOST key 5 to activate the
boost function.
The remaining duration of the function is
counted down in seconds (B299 to B000).
After these 5 minutes have elapsed, the intelli-
gent radiator control unit changes to the mode
which was previously active (Auto/Manu)
with the previously set temperature.
The function can be deactivated early at any
time by pressing the key or activating the se-
lector dial 6 .

Note: The BOOST key has an immediate ef-
fect if the radiator is covered (e.g. by a sofa).
The Window open detection is deactivated
during the BOOST function.

Setting the holiday function
If a xed temperature needs to be maintained
during a holiday or a party for a certain pe-
riod of time, the holiday function can be used.
Press the Menu key 7 briey as often as
necessary until the Suitcase symbol
appears in the display.
Set the time via the selector dial 6 up to
which the temperature is to be maintained
and then conrm with the OK key 5 .
Then set the date with the selector dial
and conrm with the OK key.
Set the temperature with the selector dial
and conrm with the OK key. The display
ashes as conrmation.

The set temperature is maintained until
the time point which has been set.
Then the intelligent radiator control unit
goes to Auto mode.

Comfortable temperature
and reduced temperature
The key for comfortable temperature / reduced
temperature provides for a convenient and
simple switching between these two tempera-
tures. These have been set at the factory at
21.0 C (comfortable temperature) and 17.0 C
(reduced temperature). They can be adjusted
as follows:
Hold the key for Comfortable tempera-
ture / reduced temperature 4 for a
long period. The Sun symbol and the
currently stored comfortable temperature
appear in the display.

Change the temperature with the selector
dial 6 and conrm with the OK key 5 .
The Moon symbol and the reduced
temperature appear in the display.
Change the temperature with the selector
dial 6 and conrm with the OK key 5 .
The temperature can also be changed in Auto
mode at any time via the key. This is then re-
tained until the next switching time point of the
program.

Child safeguard /
operating lock
The operation of the device can be blocked:
To activate/deactivate the operating lock,
press the Menu button 7 and keys at
the same time. After it has been successfully
activated, LOC appears in the display.
To deactivate the operating lock, press
both keys again.

Activating heating pause
(battery saving)
If the heating is switched o in the summer,
the batteries can be saved. With this the valve
is completely opened. The protection against
calcication continues however to be carried out.
To activate the heating pause proceed as
follows:
Turn the selector dial 6 in manual mode
(Manu) to the right until ON appears
in the display.
Note: The break in the heating period is
now set.
To end it, exit the manual mode (Manu)
or turn the selector dial to the left.

Setting the frost
protection mode
If a room is not to be heated, the valve can
be closed. The valve is only opened if there is

danger of frost. The protection against calci-
cation continues however to be carried out.
To deactivate the frost protection proceed as
follows:
Turn the selector dial 6 in manual mode
(Manu) to the left until OFF appears
in the display.
To end it, exit the manual mode (Manu)
or turn the selector dial to the right.

Window open function
With a rapidly reducing temperature, the in-
telligent radiator control unit automatically
detects that a room is being ventilated. In or-
der to save heating costs, the temperature is
then regulated down for a certain period of
time (15 minutes, set at the factory). During
this period the Window open symbol is
shown in the display.

To activate this function proceed as follows:
3 seconds.
Select the AER menu item with the
selector dial 6 and conrm with the OK
key 5 .
The temperature and time can be set with
the selector dial. The function can be de-
activated by selecting 0 for the time.

Setting the oset
temperature
Since the temperature is measured at the radi-
ator, it can be colder or warmer at another
location in the room. In order to equalise this,
a temperature oset of +/- 3.5 C can be set.
If for example 18 C is measured instead of
the set 20 C, then an oset of -2.0 C is to
be set.

To set the oset temperature proceed as
follows:
3 seconds.
Select the TOF menu item with the se-
lector dial 6 and conrm with the OK
key 5 .
Turn the selector dial for as long as
necessary until the desired temperature
appears.

Restoring the factory
settings
The status of the programmable radiator con-
trol unit can be manually restored by means
of a reset to that when originally supplied.
This means that all the manually performed
settings are lost.

Follow these steps:
Hold the Menu key 7 pressed down for
longer than 3 seconds.
Select the RES menu item with the
selector dial 6 and conrm with the OK
key 5 . CFM then appears in the
display.

and are subject to hazardous waste regulations.
The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are:

zai-v cu modul de utilizare a produsului. Pentru
aceasta citii cu atenie urmtorul manual de
utilizare i indicaiile de siguran. Folosii
produsul numai n modul descris i numai n
domeniile de utilizare indicate. Pstrai bine
acest manual. Predai ntreaga documentaie
n cazul nstrinrii produsului ctre teri.

Funcia general
Cu ajutorul capului termostatic programabil
Classic Model L cu program de nclzire i re-
ducere a temperaturii programabil n prealabil,

reglabil individual este posibil reglarea
temperaturii ncperii ntr-un mod controlat.
Dispozitivul pune n micare un ventil pentru a
controla uxul de cldur la nivelul radiatorului.
Capul termostatic programabil este compatibil
cu toate ventilele uzuale pentru radiatoare i
este uor de montat fr evacuarea apei
de nclzire sau intervenii asupra sistemului de
nclzire. Funcia BOOST suplimentar permite
o nclzire rapid, temporar a radiatorului

reglarea unui ventil uzual pentru radiatoare.
Folosii dispozitivul numai n interior i evitai
expunerea la umiditate, praf, radiaii solare
sau de cldur. Orice alt utilizare diferit

sau n ap. Bateriile pot exploda.

Introducerea / schimbarea
bateriilor
Scoatei capacul compartimentului de ba-
terii de pe partea de jos a dispozitivului.
Introducei 2 baterii noi de tip LR6
(Mignon / AA) cu polii n direcia corect
n compartimentul pentru baterii.
Aezai capacul compartimentului pentru
baterii la loc i blocai-l.

Not: Durata de via a bateriilor alcaline
noi este de aprox. 3 ani. Simbolul de baterie
indic faptul c bateriile trebuie schim-
bate. Dup scoaterea bateriilor trebuie s
ateptai aprox. 1 minut nainte de a introduce
bateriile noi. Nu funcioneaz cu acumulatori.

Setarea datei i a orei
Not: Dac se introduc sau schimb bateriile,
se aeaz mai nti pentru scurt timp versiu-
nea rmware-ului, iar apoi se interogheaz
automat data i ora.
Setai anul, luna, ziua, ora i minutele 3
cu roata de reglare 6 i conrmai cu OK
5 (a se vedea g. A). n timpul introdu-
cerii datei i a orei, motorul retrage auto-
mat tiftul de comand.
Aajul INS cu rotindu-se indic fap-
tul c motorul se retrage nc. De ndat ce

regulatorul corpului de nclzire este mon-
tat pe ventil, apare doar INS pe ecran.
Programul sptmnal i alte setri pot
adaptate anterior montajului. Apsai n
acest scop tasta MODE 7 n timp ce se
aeaz INS. Mai multe detalii gsii
la seciunea Meniu de congurare.
Dup ncheierea programrii, pe ecran
se aeaz din nou INS i se poate
realiza montajul.

Montarea pe radiator
Montarea capului termostatic programabil
este foarte simpl i poate realizat fr
evacuarea apei de nclzire sau o intervenie
asupra sistemului de nclzire. Nu sunt nece-
sare scule speciale sau oprirea instalaiei de
nclzire. Piulia olandez de pe capul termos-
tatic programabil ale utilizare universal i se
potrivete fr accesorii pe toate ventilele cu

Demontarea capului
termostatic vechi
Rotii capul termostatic la valoarea maxim
10 (contrar sensului acelor de ceasornic).
Capul termostatic nu mai apas acum pe
tija ventilului i, n felul acesta, poate
demontat mai uor (a se vedea g. B).

Adaptor pentru Danfoss
Avei grij s nu v prindei degetele ntre
cele dou jumti ale adaptorului n timpul
montajului.

Pentru montarea pe ventile Danfoss trebuie s
folosii unul dintre ventilele ataate. Pentru aran-
jarea inelelor de adaptare corespunztoare
pe ventilul corespunztor vedei gurile CF.
Corpurile ventilelor Danfoss prezint crestturi
longitudinale circulare 13, care asigur i o
xare mai bun a adaptorului dup blocare.
Not: n timpul montajului avei grij ca
pivotul din interiorul adaptorului 14 s se
suprapun cu crestturile 13 de pe ventil.

Pentru o xare mai bun, adaptoarele RA i

Inel de rezemare
Ventilele diferiilor productori pot prezenta
diferene de toleran, care duc la o xare
insucient a capului termostatic programabil
pe ventil. Prin utilizarea inelului de rezemare
ataat se pot mbunti stabilitatea i poziia
pe ventil (a se vedea g. F).
Introducei inelul de rezemare 16 n
an sau pe racordul de ventil al radia-
torului i nurubai ventilul termostatic.
Not: Dac nu se poate introduce inelul
de rezemare, nseamn c exist sucient
stabilitate i acesta nu mai trebuie montat.

Cursa de adaptare
Dup introducerea bateriilor, motorul merge
mai nti napoi, iar pe ecran se aeaz INS

i simbolul de activitate . De ndat ce se
aeaz pe ecran INS fr simbol de acti-
vitate , putei monta capul termostatic pro-
gramabil. Ulterior se realizeaz o curs de
adaptare (AdA) pentru adaptarea la ventil.

Strngei piulia olandez.
Apsai tasta BOOST 5 cnd se aeaz
INS pe ecran.
Regulatorul corpului termostatic programabil
efectueaz o curs de adaptare.
Pe parcursul acesteia se aeaz AdA i
simbolul de activitate pe ecran; n acest
timp nu este posibil utilizarea dispozitivului.
Not: Dac ai iniiat cursa de adaptare
anterior montrii, i motorul revine n poziia
INS. Dac se aeaz un mesaj de eroare
(F1, F2, F3), apsai OK i motorul revine n
poziia INS.

Setarea programului
sptmnal
n programul sptmnal putei seta separat
pn la 3 etape de nclzire (7 momente de
comutare) pentru ecare zi a sptmnii. Pro-
gramarea se realizeaz pentru zilele selectate,
iar pentru intervalul orar 00:00-23:59 trebuie
memorate temperaturi.
Apsai tasta Meniu 7 timp de peste
3 secunde. Pe ecran se aeaz PRO.
Conrmai cu tasta OK 5 .
Pe ecran se aeaz DAY. Cu ajutorul
roii de reglare putei alege o singur zi a
sptmnii, toate zilele lucrtoare, week-
endul sau toat sptmna (exemplu,
zile lucrtoare).

Moduri de funcionare
Prin apsarea tastei MODE 7 se poate comuta
ntre cele 3 moduri de funcionare (modurile de
funcionare pot selectate dup montare):
- Funcia de concediu: Setarea unei
temperaturi, care va meninut pn la un
moment stabilit.
- Manu: regim manual - temperatura este
setat manual prin roata de reglare.
- Auto: program sptmnal - reglarea auto-
mat a temperaturii conform programului
sptmnal memorat.

Meniu de congurare
n meniul de congurare putei modica set-
rile. Putei accesa meniul innd apsat (mai
mult de 3 secunde) tasta Meniu 7 . Punctele
de meniu se aleg cu roata de reglare 6 i
se conrm cu OK 5 . Dac apsai nc o
dat tasta Meniu revenii la nivelul anterior.
Dac nu se acioneaz dispozitivul timp de

peste 65 de secunde, meniul se nchide auto-
mat. Putei realiza urmtoarele setri:

n regimul normal se aeaz perioadele de
comutare, modul de funcionare, temperatura
nominal i ziua sptmnii. Barele pentru
perioadele de comutare ale programului sp-
tmnal se aeaz pentru ecare al doilea
interval de timp (exemple gsii la seciunea
Program sptmnal: exemple).

Funcia BOOST
Funcia BOOST folosete senzaia individual
de cldur a omului. La activare, ventilul

radiatorului este deschis imediat i rmne des-
chis timp de 5 minute la 80 % (setare din fabric).
nclzirea ncperii dureaz mai mult de
5 minute, ns cldura emanat de radiator
poate simit imediat. Dac ajungei mai
devreme acas i dorii s se nclzeasc
rapid sau avei nevoie dimineaa de mai mult
cldur n baie, v ajut funcia BOOST.
Apsai tasta BOOST 5 pentru activarea
funciei BOOST.
Timpul rmas pn la dezactivarea funciei
se scurge n pai de secunde (B299 pn
la B000). Dup expirarea acestor 5 minute,
corpul termostatic programabil trece n modul
activat anterior (Auto / Manu) cu tempera-
tura setat anterior. Funcia poate dezacti-
vat mai devreme oricnd apsnd o tast
sau acionnd roata de reglare 6 .

Not: Funcia BOOST nu are un efect direct
n cazul n care radiatorul este acoperit (de
exemplu, de o canapea). Funcia de recunoa-
tere a geamului deschis este dezactivat n
timpul funciei BOOST.

Setarea funciei de concediu
Dac dorii ca n timpul concediului sau al unui
party s se menin o temperatur x pe
parcursul unui interval de timp stabilit, putei
folosi funcia de concediu.
Apsai de mai multe ori scurt tasta
Meniu 7 pn cnd apare simbolul
geamantan pe ecran.
Setai cu ajutorul roii de reglare 6 ora
pn la care dorii s se menin tempe-
ratura i conrmai cu tasta OK 5 .
Setai apoi data cu ajutorul roii de reglare
i conrmai cu tasta OK.

Dac instalaia de nclzire este oprit pe
timp de var, putei proteja bateriile. n acest
scop, deschidei complet ventilul. Se asigur
n continuare protecia mpotriva calcierii.
Pentru activarea pauzei de nclzire procedai
dup cum urmeaz:
n regimul manual (Manu), rotii roata
de reglare 6 spre dreapta pn cnd
se aeaz On pe ecran.
Indicaie: Pauza de nczlire este acum
setat.
Pentru ncheiere prsii regimul manual
(Manu) sau rotii roata de reglare spre
stnga.

Setarea regimului de
protecie la nghe
Dac nu dorii s nclzii o ncpere, putei
s nchidei ventilul. Doar n caz de pericol
de nghe se deschide ventilul. Se asigur n
continuare protecia mpotriva calcierii.
Pentru dezactivarea proteciei la nghe pro-
cedai dup cum urmeaz:
n regimul manual (Manu), rotii roata
de reglare 6 spre stnga pn cnd se
aeaz OFF pe ecran.
Pentru ncheiere prsii regimul manual

dreapta.

Funcia fereastr deschis
Corpul termostatic programabil recunoate la
o temperatur foarte sczut c ncperea este
aerisit. Pentru a face economie la cldur,
temperatura este redus pentru un anumit in-
terval de timp (din fabric, 15 minute). n

Deoarece temperatura se msoar la nivelul
radiatorului, n alte locuri din ncpere poate
s e mai rece sau mai cald. Pentru a com-
pensa aceasta putei seta un oset de tempe-
ratur de 3,5 C. Dac se msoar, de
exemplu, 18 C n loc de cele 20 C setate,
trebuie setat un oset de -2,0 C.

Este interzis eliminarea bateriilor la gunoiul
menajer. Ele pot conine metale grele toxice

Pb = plumb. De aceea, predai bateriile con-
sumate la un punct de colectare local.

Einleitung
Wir beglckwnschen Sie zum Kauf
Ihres neuen Gertes. Sie haben sich
damit fr ein hochwertiges Produkt
entschieden. Machen Sie sich vor der ersten
Inbetriebnahme mit dem Produkt vertraut. Lesen
Sie hierzu aufmerksam die nachfolgende Be-
dienungsanleitung und die Sicherheitshinweise.
Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben
und fr die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche.
Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung auf. Hndigen
Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Pro-
duktes an Dritte mit aus.

Allgemeine Funktion
Mit dem programmierbaren Heizkrperregler
Classic Model L mit vorprogrammiertem,

individuell einstellbarem Heiz- und Absenk-
programm ist es mglich, die Raumtemperatur
zeitgesteuert zu regulieren. Das Gert bewegt
ein Ventil, um den Wrmezustrom am Heiz-
krper zu steuern. Der programmierbare
Heizkrperregler passt auf alle gngigen
Heizkrperventile und ist einfach zu montieren
ohne Ablassen von Heizungswasser oder
einen Eingri in das Heizungssystem. Die
zustzliche BOOST-Funktion ermglicht ein
schnelles, kurzzeitiges Aufheizen des Heizkr-
pers durch nung des Ventils fr 5 Minuten.
Dadurch wird sofort ein angenehmes Wrme-
gefhl im Raum erreicht.

Bestimmungsgeme
Verwendung
Der programmierbare Heizkrperregler dient
zum Regulieren eines gngigen Heizkrperven-
tils. Betreiben Sie das Gert nur in Innenrumen
und vermeiden Sie den Einuss von Feuchtigkeit,

Staub sowie Sonnen- oder Wrmebestrah-
lung. Jeder andere Einsatz als in dieser Be-
dienungsanleitung beschrieben ist nicht
bestimmungsgem und fhrt zu Garantie-
und Haftungsausschluss. Dies gilt auch fr
Umbauten und Vernderungen. Die Gerte
sind ausschlielich fr den privaten Gebrauch
gedacht.

zu Batterien
Laden Sie nicht auadbare
Batterien niemals wieder auf,
schlieen Sie sie nicht kurz und /
oder nen Sie sie nicht. berhitzung,
Brandgefahr oder Platzen knnen die Folge
sein. Werfen Sie Batterien niemals in Feuer
oder Wasser. Die Batterien knnen explo-
dieren.

Batterien einlegen /
wechseln
Ziehen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel auf
der Unterseite des Gertes ab.

Legen Sie 2 neue Batterien vom Typ
LR6 (Mignon / AA) polungsrichtig in das
Batteriefach ein.
Setzen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder
auf und rasten Sie ihn ein.
Hinweis: Die Lebensdauer neuer Alkalin-
Batterien betrgt ca. 3 Jahre. Ein Batteriesymbol
weist darauf hin, dass die Batterien aus-
zutauschen sind. Nach Entnahme der Batterien
sollte bis zum Einlegen der neuen Batterien
ca. 1 Minute gewartet werden. Ein Betrieb
mit Akkus ist nicht mglich.

Datum und Uhrzeit
einstellen
Hinweis: Wenn Batterien eingelegt oder
ausgetauscht werden, wird nach kurzer Anzeige
der Firmware-Versionsnummer automatisch
Datum und Uhrzeit abgefragt.

Stellen Sie Jahr, Monat, Tag, Stunde und
Minute 3 mit dem Stellrad 6 ein und
besttigen Sie mit OK 5 (siehe Abb. A).
Whrend der Eingabe von Datum und
Uhrzeit fhrt der Motor den Steuerstift
bereits zurck.
Die Anzeige INS mit drehendem
weist darauf hin, dass der Motor noch
zurckfhrt. Sobald der programmierbare
Heizkrperregler am Ventil montiert werden
kann, steht nur INS im Display.
Das Wochenprogramm und andere Ein-
stellungen knnen vor der Montage an-
gepasst werden. Drcken Sie dazu die
MODE-Taste 7 , whrend in der Anzeige
INS steht. Mehr Details nden Sie unter
Kongurationsmen.
Nach abgeschlossener Programmierung
steht erneut INS im Display und die
Montage kann erfolgen.

Montage am Heizkrper
Die Montage des programmierbaren Heiz-
krperreglers ist einfach und kann ohne Ablas-
sen von Heizungswasser oder Eingri in das
Heizungssystem erfolgen. Spezialwerkzeug
oder ein Abschalten der Heizung sind nicht
erforderlich. Die am programmierbaren Heiz-
krperregler angebrachte berwurfmutter ist
universell einsetzbar und ohne Zubehr passend
fr alle Ventile mit dem Gewindema
M30 x 1,5 mm der gngigsten Hersteller wie
z.B.

- Junkers
- Landis&Gyr (Duodyr)
- Oventrop Typ A, Oventrop AV6

Alten Thermostatkopf
demontieren
Drehen Sie den Thermostatkopf auf den
Maximalwert 10 (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn).
Der Thermostatkopf drckt jetzt nicht mehr
auf die Ventilspindel und kann so leichter
demontiert werden (siehe Abb. B).
Die Fixierung des Thermostatkopfes kann
unterschiedlich ausgefhrt sein:
berwurfmutter:
Schrauben Sie die berwurfmutter gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn ab 13. Danach knnen
Sie den Thermostatkopf abnehmen 11.
Schnappbefestigungen:
Sie knnen so befestigte Thermostatkpfe
einfach lsen, indem Sie den Verschluss /
die berwurfmutter ein klein wenig gegen

den Uhrzeigersinn drehen 12. Danach kn-
nen Sie den Thermostatkopf abnehmen 11.
Klemmverschraubungen:
Der Thermostatkopf wird durch einen
Befestigungsring gehalten, der mit einer
Schraube zusammengehalten wird. Lsen
Sie diese Schraube und nehmen Sie den
Thermostatkopf vom Ventil ab 11 .
Verschraubung mit Madenschrauben:
Lsen Sie die Madenschraube und nehmen
Sie den Thermostatkopf ab 11 .

Adapter fr Danfoss
Achten Sie bei der Montage darauf, sich
nicht die Finger zwischen den Adapterhlften
einzuklemmen!
Zur Montage auf Ventile von Danfoss ist einer
der beiliegenden Adapter erforderlich. Die

Zuordnung des passenden Adapterrings zum
entsprechenden Ventil entnehmen Sie bitte
den Abbildungen C - F.
Die Ventilkrper von Danfoss weisen umlaufend
lngliche Einkerbungen 13 auf, die auch
einen besseren Sitz des Adapters nach dem
Aufrasten gewhrleisten.
Hinweis: Achten Sie bei der Montage bitte
darauf, dass die Zapfen im Inneren des Adapters
14 eine deckungsgleiche Position zu den Ein-
kerbungen 13 am Ventil haben.
Schieben Sie den zum Ventil passenden
Adapter auf das Ventil, bis dieser einrastet.
Die Adapter RA und RAV wurden Zugunsten
eines besseren Sitzes mit Vorspannung produ-
ziert. Bei Montage verwenden Sie ggf. einen
Schraubendreher, und biegen diese im Bereich
der Schraube leicht auf.
Nach dem Aufrasten auf den Ventilkrper
befestigen Sie die Adapter bitte mit der

beiliegenden Schraube und Mutter (siehe
Abb. C).
Hinweis: Achten Sie bei der Montage
bitte darauf, dass die Zapfen im Inneren des
Adapters 14 eine deckungsgleiche Position
zu den Einkerbungen 13 am Ventil haben.
Rasten Sie den zum Ventil passenden
Adapter vollstndig auf.
Auf Ventile vom Typ RAV ist vor der Montage
die Stelverlngerung 15 auf den Ventilstift
aufzusetzen (siehe Abb. D).

Sttzring
Die Ventile verschiedener Hersteller knnen
Toleranzschwankungen aufweisen, die zu
einem zu lockeren Sitz des programmierbaren
Heizkrperreglers auf dem Ventil fhren. Durch
die Verwendung des beigefgten Sttzrings
knnen die Stabilitt und der Sitz auf dem
Ventil verbessert werden (siehe Abb. F).
Legen Sie den Sttzring 16 in den Flansch
oder auf den Ventilanschluss des Heizkrpers
und schrauben Sie das Thermostatventil an.
Hinweis: Kann der Sttzring nicht aufge-
steckt werden, ist die Stabilitt ausreichend
und er wird fr die Montage nicht bentigt.

Adaptierfahrt
Nach dem Einlegen der Batterien fhrt der
Motor zunchst zurck, whrenddessen wird
INS und das Aktivittssymbol angezeigt.
Sobald INS ohne Aktivittssymbol im
Display steht, kann der programmierbare
Heizkrperregler montiert werden. Danach
wird zur Anpassung ans Ventil eine Adaptier-
fahrt (AdA) durchgefhrt.
Setzen Sie den programmierbaren
Heizkrperregler auf das Ventil.
Ziehen Sie die berwurfmutter fest.
Drcken Sie die BOOST-Taste 5 , wenn
im Display INS steht.
Der programmierbare Heizkrperregler fhrt
eine Adaptierfahrt durch.
Dabei werden AdA und das Aktivittssymbol
im Display angezeigt, whrenddessen ist
keine Bedienung mglich.

Hinweis: Wurde die Adaptierfahrt vor der
Montage eingeleitet, fhrt der Motor ebenfalls
zurck zur Position INS. Wird eine Fehlermel-
dung (F1, F2, F3) angezeigt, drcken Sie OK
und der Motor fhrt zurck zur Position INS.

Inbetriebnahme

Wochenprogramm
einstellen
Im Wochenprogramm lassen sich fr jeden
Wochentag separat bis zu 3 Heizphasen
(7 Schaltzeitpunkte) einstellen. Die Program-
mierung erfolgt fr die ausgewhlten Tage,
wobei fr einen Zeitraum von 00:00 bis 23:59
Temperaturen hinterlegt werden mssen.
Drcken Sie die Men-Taste 7 lnger
als 3 Sekunden. Im Display erscheint PRO.
Besttigen Sie mit der OK-Taste 5 .

Im Display erscheint DAY. Mit dem
Stellrad sind ein einzelner Wochentag,
alle Werktage, das Wochenende oder
die gesamte Woche auswhlbar (Bsp.
Werktage).

Besttigen Sie mit der OK-Taste. Der erste
Schaltzeitpunkt wird angezeigt (0:00),
dieser kann nicht verndert werden. Die
Heizzeiten werden zudem als Balken
angezeigt.
Besttigen Sie mit der OK-Taste.

stellen, die ab 0:00 gewnscht ist (Bsp.
17.0 C).

Der nchste Schaltzeitpunkt wird ange-
zeigt (Bsp. 6:00). Diesen knnen Sie indi-
viduell anpassen.

Stellen Sie anschlieend die Temperatur
ein, die ab 6:00 vorherrschen soll.
Diesen Vorgang knnen Sie wiederholen,
bis die weiteren gewnschten Temperaturen
fr den Zeitraum von 0:00 bis 23:59 h
hinterlegt sind. Sind alle 7 Schaltzeitpunkte
belegt, wird 23:59 als Endzeitpunkt zum
Besttigen angezeigt.
Im Auto-Modus kann die Temperatur jederzeit
auch ber das Stellrad verndert werden. Die
genderte Temperatur bleibt dann bis zum
nchsten Schaltzeitpunkt erhalten.

Mit dem programmierbaren Heizkrperregler
knnen fr jeden Wochentag bis zu 3 Heiz-
zeiten (7 Schaltzeitpunkte) mit individueller

Werkseitig sind zwei Heizphasen von 6:00
bis 9:00 Uhr und von 17:00 bis 23:00 Uhr
fr alle Wochentage gleich hinterlegt:

Betriebsmodi
Mit kurzem Druck der MODE-Taste 7 kann
zwischen den folgenden 3 Betriebsmodi ge-
wechselt werden (die Betriebs-Modi sind erst
nach der Montage auswhlbar):
- Urlaubsfunktion: Einstellen einer
Temperatur, die bis zu einem xen Zeitpunkt
gehalten werden soll.
- Manu: Manueller Betrieb - die Temperatur
wird manuell ber das Stellrad eingestellt.
- Auto: Wochenprogramm - automatische
Temperaturregelung entsprechend dem hin-
terlegtem Wochenprogramm.

Kongurationsmen
Im Kongurationsmen lassen sich Einstellun-
gen ndern. Das Men lsst sich ber einen
langen Tastendruck (lnger als 3 Sekunden)
der Men-Taste 7 aufrufen. Menpunkte
werden mit dem Stellrad 6 ausgewhlt und
mit OK 5 besttigt. Ein erneuter Druck der

Men-Taste fhrt zur vorherigen Ebene zurck.
Wenn fr mehr als 65 Sekunden keine Betti-
gung am Gert erfolgt, schliet sich das Men
automatisch. Sie knnen folgende Einstellungen
vornehmen:
PRO: Einstellung des Wochenprogramms
(siehe Abschnitt Wochenpro-
gramm einstellen)
DAT: ndern von Uhrzeit und Datum
POS: Abfrage der aktuellen Position des
programmierbaren Heizkrperreglers
DST: Die automatische Umschaltung
zwischen Sommer- und Winterzeit
kann deaktiviert werden.
AER: Fenster-auf-Temperatur und Zeit
fr die automatische Temperatur-
absenkung beim Lften einstellen
TOF: Oset-Temperatur einstellen
RES: Werkseinstellungen wieder herstellen

Display-Inhalt im
Normalbetrieb
Im Normalbetrieb werden Schaltzeitrume,
Betriebsmodus, Soll-Temperatur und Wochen-
tag angezeigt. Die Balken fr Schaltzeitrume
des Wochenprogramms werden fr jedes
zweite Zeitintervall angezeigt (Beispiel unter
Wochenprogramm: Beispiele).

BOOST-Funktion
Die BOOST-Funktion nutzt das menschliche
Wrmeempnden. Bei Aktivierung wird das
Heizungsventil sofort fr 5 Minuten auf 80%
genet (Werkseinstellung).

Die Erwrmung eines Raumes dauert lnger
als 5 Minuten, doch die vom Heizkrper abge-
gebene Wrme kann sofort wahrgenommen
werden. Kommen Sie frher nach Hause und
mchten es schnell warm haben oder benti-
gen Sie morgens im Bad extra Wrme, hilft
Ihnen die BOOST-Funktion.
Drcken Sie die BOOST-Taste 5 zum
Aktivieren der Boost-Funktion.
Die verbleibende Funktionsdauer wird im
Sekundentakt heruntergezhlt (B299 bis
B000). Nach Ablauf dieser 5 Minuten wech-
selt der programmierbare Heizkrperregler in
den vorher aktiven Modus (Auto / Manu)
mit der vorher eingestellten Temperatur.
Die Funktion lsst sich jederzeit vorzeitig
durch einen Tastendruck oder Bettigen des
Stellrads 6 deaktivieren.

Hinweis: Die Boost-Taste hat keinen unmit-
telbaren Eekt, wenn der Heizkrper verdeckt
ist (z. B. durch ein Sofa). Die Fenster-Auf-Erken-
nung ist whrend der Boost-Funktion deaktiviert.

Urlaubsfunktion einstellen
Wenn whrend eines Urlaubs oder einer Party
fr einen bestimmten Zeitraum eine feste
Temperatur gehalten werden soll, kann die
Urlaubsfunktion genutzt werden.
Drcken Sie die Men-Taste 7 so oft
kurz, bis im Display das Koersymbol
erscheint.
Stellen Sie ber das Stellrad 6 die Uhr-
zeit ein, bis zu der die Temperatur gehalten
werden soll und besttigen Sie mit der
OK-Taste 5 .
Stellen Sie danach mit dem Stellrad das
Datum ein und besttigen Sie mit der
OK-Taste.

Stellen Sie mit dem Stellrad die Temperatur
ein und besttigen Sie mit OK. Die Anzeige
blinkt zur Besttigung.
Die eingestellte Temperatur bleibt bis zum
vorgegebenen Zeitpunkt bestehen. Danach
geht der programmierbare Heizkrper-
regler in den Auto-Modus.

Komfort- und
Absenktemperatur
Die Taste Komfort- / Absenktemperatur dient
zur komfortablen und einfachen Umschaltung
zwischen diesen beiden Temperaturen. Werk-
seitig liegen diese bei 21.0 C (Komforttem-
peratur) und 17.0 C (Absenktemperatur).
Sie knnen wie folgt angepasst werden:
Halten Sie die Komfort- / Absenktaste
4 lange gedrckt. Im Display erscheinen
das Sonnensymbol und die aktuell
hinterlegte Komforttemperatur.

OK-Taste 5 . Im Display erscheinen das
Mondsymbol und die Absenktemperatur.
Verndern Sie die Temperatur mit dem
Stellrad 6 und besttigen Sie mit der
OK-Taste 5 .
Auch im Auto-Modus kann die Temperatur
ber die Taste jederzeit gendert werden.
Diese bleibt dann bis zum nchsten Schalt-
zeitpunkt des Programms erhalten.

Kindersicherung /
Bediensperre
Die Bedienung am Gert kann gesperrt werden:
Zur Aktivierung / Deaktivierung der Bedien-
sperre, drcken Sie die Men-Taste 7 und
kurz gleichzeitig. Nach erfolgreicher
Aktivierung erscheint LOC im Display.

Zur Deaktivierung der Bediensperre,
drcken Sie erneut beide Tasten.

Heizpause aktivieren
(Batterieschonung)
Ist die Heizung im Sommer abgeschaltet,
knnen die Batterien geschont werden. Dazu
wird das Ventil ganz genet. Der Verkalkungs-
schutz wird weiter durchgefhrt.
Zum Aktivieren der Heizpause gehen Sie wie
folgt vor:
Drehen Sie das Stellrad 6 im manuellen
Betrieb (Manu) so lange nach rechts,
bis im Display On erscheint.
Hinweis: Die Heizpause ist nun einge-
stellt.
Zum Beenden verlassen Sie den manuellen
Betrieb (Manu) oder drehen Sie das
Stellrad nach links.

Frostschutzbetrieb
einstellen
Wenn ein Raum nicht geheizt werden soll,
kann das Ventil geschlossen werden. Nur bei
Frostgefahr wird das Ventil genet. Der Ver-
kalkungsschutz wird weiter durchgefhrt.
Zum Deaktivieren des Frostschutzes gehen
Sie wie folgt vor:
Drehen Sie das Stellrad 6 im manuellen
Betrieb (Manu) so lange nach links, bis
im Display OFF erscheint.
Zum Beenden verlassen Sie den manuellen
Betrieb (Manu) oder drehen Sie das
Stellrad nach rechts.

Fenster-auf-Funktion
Der programmierbare Heizkrperregler er-
kennt bei einer stark absinkenden Temperatur
automatisch, dass ein Raum gelftet wird. Um
Heizkosten zu sparen, wird dann die Temperatur
fr einen bestimmten Zeitraum herunter

geregelt (werkseitig 15 Minuten). Whrend-
dessen wird im Display das Fenster-auf-
Symbol angezeigt.
Zum Aktivieren gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Drcken Sie die Men-Taste 7 lnger als
3 Sekunden.
Whlen Sie mit dem Stellrad 6 den Men-
punkt AER und besttigen Sie mit der
OK-Taste 5 .
Die Temperatur und die Zeit lassen sich
mit dem Stellrad einstellen. Mit der
Zeitauswahl 0 lsst sich die Funktion
deaktivieren.

Oset-Temperatur
einstellen
Da die Temperatur am Heizkrper gemessen
wird, kann es an einer anderen Stelle im Raum
klter oder wrmer sein. Um dies anzugleichen,
kann ein Temperatur-Oset von 3.5 C

eingestellt werden. Werden z. B. 18 C anstatt
eingestellter 20 C gemessen, ist ein Oset von
-2.0 C einzustellen.
Zum Einstellen der Oset-Temperatur gehen
Sie wie folgt vor:
Drcken Sie die Men-Taste 7 lnger
als 3 Sekunden.
Whlen Sie mit dem Stellrad 6 den
Menpunkt TOF aus und besttigen Sie
mit der OK-Taste 5 .
Drehen Sie das Stellrad so lange, bis die
gewnschte Temperatur erscheint.

Werkseinstellungen
wieder herstellen
Der Auslieferungszustand des programmier-
baren Heizkrperreglers kann manuell durch
einen Reset wieder hergestellt werden. Dabei

gehen alle manuell vorgenommenen Einstel-
lungen verloren.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Halten Sie die Men-Taste 7 lnger als
3 Sekunden gedrckt.
Whlen Sie mit dem Stellrad 6 den
Menpunkt RES aus und besttigen Sie
mit der OK-Taste 5 . Anschlieend er-
scheint CFM im Display.

Umweltschden durch falsche
Entsorgung der Batterien!
Batterien drfen nicht ber den Hausmll ent-
sorgt werden. Sie knnen giftige Schwermetalle
enthalten und unterliegen der Sondermllbehand-
lung. Die chemischen Symbole der Schwermetalle
sind wie folgt: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Quecksilber,
Pb = Blei. Geben Sie deshalb verbrauchte Batte-
rien bei einer kommunalen Sammelstelle ab.
