PhotoRazor soles this by making high quality copies of your photos at a
smaller size - ideal for on-screen iewing. !his reduces the file size
making them much easier to email and share with friends and family.
"ou don#t want to lose your large originals in the process - you#ll need
those for printing, so PhotoRazor saes the smaller resized copies to a
separate folder, ensuring your precious original photographs are kept
safe and untouched.

How to use
). *lick the Choose Folder... button to select a folder of photos to resize.
+. ,elect the size and quality you want.
-. *lick the Resize Photos Now button. PhotoRazor will sae resized copies of the photos to
the chosen subfolder. !he original photos will remain untouched. "ou can stop the resizing
process at any time by clicking the button again.
!he Width/Height setting determines the size in pixels of the longest side of your resized
photographs. .or landscape oriented photos this will be the width, for portrait oriented photos
this will be the height. PhotoRazor will ad&ust the other dimension automatically, maintaining
the original aspect ratio, ensuring that your photos are resized smoothly without distortion.
!he /idth01eight slider has a maximum alue of 233 pixels. 4nywhere between 533-233
pixels is an ideal size for email photos. "ou can set larger sizes and also fine tune the size
using the numeric spinner control to the right of the slider.
Quality alues between 657 and 857 usually proide high quality pictures while keeping the
photo file sizes small enough for email and displaying on web sites. !o presere intricate or
subtle detail you may want to set a higher quality alue.
!he Subfolder field is the name of the subfolder where the resized photos will be saed. 4fter
resizing, click the small folder button to the right to open this folder.

Resizing a selection of photos
<y default PhotoRazor is set to resize all the photos in the selected folder. <y clicking the
Selected Photos radio button you can resize &ust a few of the photos instead.
!o choose a selection of photos, click the photo filenames you want in the photo list on the
right, while holding down either the ,hift or *trl key on your keyboard =the ,hift key will select
a block of photos, while the *trl key enables you to pick a number of indiidual photos>.
%f your photos are fresh from the camera and hae not yet been processed by other software
you will see a small preiew image as you hoer oer the photo filenames to help you select
the photos you want.
Rotating photos
Portrait photos tend to be appear in landscape orientation when first transferred from the
camera. "ou can rotate currently selected photos the correct way up by clicking the +! "!
and #$! degree rotation buttons at the bottom of the screen.
Convert to black & white
*lick the Co%&ert to 'lac( ) White button at the bottom of the screen to add a monochrome
filter to currently selected photos. "ou can also introduce a colour tint and ad&ust the tint
strength. !he balance slider ad&usts the relatie weights of the original image red, green and
blue channels when conerting to black and white, and can help emphasize certain tones and
shades in the photograph. ?rag the slider to the left or right until you obtain a pleasing
image.
!o remoe the filter, restoring the original image, click the !rash *an icon at the bottom left of
the filter ad&ustment panel.
