Cambodia

Cambodia is located in South East Asia.


Cambodia has a population of 14.86 million
and the Cambodian flag looks like this, theres
a temple in the middle and blue and red
colours in the flag. There is a king called
Norodom Sihamoni and queen is called Norodom Monineath and they are
living in Cambodia, the old king died the year 2013.


Famous Dish Bai Sach Chrouk
Bai sack is served early mornings on streets, corners all over Cambodia. Bai
Sach Chrouk, or known as pork and rise, is one of the simplest and most
delicious dish Cambodia has to offer.
Famous Tourist Attraction
Ankor Wat is the most magnificent and largest of all Ankor temples and the top
tourist attraction in Cambodia. It was built around the first half of 12

by king Suryavarmon 2, the temples beauty make it one of the finest
monuments in the world.
Population
There are 14.86 million people living in Cambodia some of the people live in
streets and some of them are really poor but there kids still go to school.

Cambodian New year is a happy day because its the day where everybody

Cambodians have believed in Buddhist for a long time properly since the 5

The capital city of Cambodia is called Phnom Penh.
Sport
Cambodia has been involved in sport over the last 30 years. Football is a
popular sport and martial arts in particular. The martial arts of Bokator.
Wild Life
There are sun bears, tigers, dhole, Asian elephant, leopard cat and Siamese
crocodiles.
Killing fields
The killing fields is an area were lots of people were killed by the Khmer rouge.
The leader of the Khmer Rouge was named Pol Pot. He was buried near
Thailand and people say that if you see a ghost near there and look into his
eyes you will be blind.
Borders
Cambodia borders Thailand, Vietnam and Laos.
Currency
Cambodians currency is riel and they use Cambodian notes and American
notes.
Government
Cambodia and Australia government was working hard because Cambodian
people use to smuggle drugs to Australia.
