01. Mount the ISO;

02. Install the License Manager;
If a window requesting a license file appears, just leave it blank and p
ress "Next";
03. Install Cadence SPB/OrCAD v16.5;
04. Install the Cadence SPB HDL-AMS Library, present in the "LibCD" folder;
05. Install the latest SPB Hotfix - no need to download/install all hotfixes, th
e latest includes them all;
06. Copy the contents of Crack\LicenseManager to "your SPB/OrCAD v16.5 Installat
ion Folder"\Cadence\LicenseManager;
Locate and run "LicenseManager.cmd";
07. Copy the contents of Crack\SPB_16.5\tools to "your SPB/OrCAD v16.5 Installat
ion Folder"\Cadence\SPB_16.5\tools;
Locate and run "Tools.cmd" (may take several minutes to finnish);
08. Copy the folder Crack\LicGen to "your SPB/OrCAD v16.5 Installation Folder"\C
adence;
Locate and edit "src.lic" in Notepad, change the 1st line "this-host" to
the real name of you computer and save the file;
(NOTE: Computer name - WinXP - can be acessed in "Control Panel -> Syste
m -> Computer Name")
Execute "LicGen.cmd" which will generate a "license.lic" file.
09. Run the license server configuration program ("Start Menu -> Cadence -> Lice
nse Manager -> License Server Configuration Utility");
Indicate the "your SPB/OrCAD v16.5 Installation Folder"\Cadence\LicGen\l
icense.lic file previously generated as the OrCAD license to use;
Confirm the info displayed and continue, initializing the license server
and to see a message confirming that all went well.
10. If OrCAD still goes into Lite mode/version, add/change the following User/Sy
stem Environment Variables:
(WinXP - "Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Environment Variables")
Variable Name: CDS_LIC_FILE
Variable Value: "your SPB/OrCAD v16.5 Installation Folder"\Caden
ce\LicenseManager\license.dat
NOTE: Do not aplly updates/hotfixes over an already license cracked SPB/OrCAD,
it will cease to function!
If you do that, your only option will be to completly unninstall
and then reinstall SPB/OrCAD v16.5, redoing all cracking procedures.
Still, if you want to update SPB/OrCAD without having to unninst
all/reinstall it, follow the steps below:
*01. Rename the folder "your SPB/OrCAD v16.5 Installation Folder
\Cadence\SPB_16.5" to "SPB_16.5_";
*02. Create an empty "your SPB/OrCAD v16.5 Installation Folder\C
adence\SPB_16.5" folder;
*03. Copy "compnts.dat" from the "SPB_16.5_" folder to the empty
"SPB_16.5" folder;
*04. Apply/run the Hotfix setup;
*05. Redo step 07;
*06. Transfer the contents of the "SPB_16.5" folder to the "SPB_
16.5_" folder, replacing them;
*07. Delete the now empty "SPB_16.5" folder, and rename the upda
ted "SPB_16.5_" folder to "SPB_16.5".

hrough the OrCAD Capture Start Page (for example, CB Distribution).
