METHOD STATEMENT FOR INSTALLATION OF CHILLED WATER PUMPS
1.0 SCOPE OF WORK
The Method Statement is applicable to installation of CHW pumps at First Floor. 2.0 RESPONSIBILITY Before commencement of any installation activity, the followin procedures are re!uired to be carried out. " Maneuver the e!uipment from loadin points into the plant rooms in a reasonably timely manner. & $ssist in lowerin the e!uipments onto +nertia Bases with Sprins +solators. ' +nstallation to be as per approved shop drawin. * Before installation of pump ensures the foundation 3base4, bloc% wall and plaster is completed and allows sufficient space to move the unit inside the plant room. - Select the correct si5e ) model pumps and install the unit in the location as confiured in the shop drawin. 6 Connect suction and dischare pipin with fle7ible connectors as per shop drawin ) e!uipment connection details and ensures that no weiht is put onto pump connections. 8 Complete electrical connection to the unit recommended by the manufacturer. 9 1nsure that oil reservoir is filled to the correct level and with lubricant as per pump supplier:s installation instructions. #; $fter completin pipe installation chec% for free movement of motor and impeller by turnin them by hand. ## Contact supplier:s technician to chec% pump alinment prior to commissionin. -.0 LABOUR.
