Client-Side Monitoring with the Intelligent Endpoint

Collect Network Metrics with Heatmap
Heatmap is an onboard software tool that collects critical performance parameters
directly on your Intelligent Endpoint.
With Heatmap you can capture dynamic network metrics such as access point, bit rate,
channel quality, signal-to-noise ratio, and ping time in conjunction with machine
information such as GPS position, heading and velocity. Heatmap data can be saved
in CSV format for easy download through Endpoint Manager
TM
(EPM) Onboard.
View Network Trafc with Network Monitor
Easily accessed through EPM
Onboard, Network Monitor provides
an intuitive web interface to view
Multi Router Trafc Grapher (MRTG)
representations of trafc on all
network interfaces. Network Monitor
also allows the ability to measure
the throughput between any
Intelligent Endpoint network
interface and a remote server using
Iperf.
With Network Monitor you can easily
identify network interfaces or
applications which may be causing
congestion.
Additional 3D-P software features, such as Geofence and Bandwidth Limiter, can then
be used to administer bandwidth allotments to ensure your network remains robust.

A Birds-Eye View with Network Visualizer
3D-Ps Network Visualizer provides a web-based overview of your entire
network deployment. Using Heatmap generated data, the wireless health
metrics of every Intelligent Endpoint on your network can be viewed on an
aerial map as it travels through your mine. Each datapoint is plotted based
on GPS coordinates and provides a visual representation of vehicle location,
heading and throughput. Full Heatmap parameters such as bit rate, channel
quality, and latency can all be seen with a click of the mouse.
Network Visualizer features a powerful set of lters allowing you to focus on
specic network metrics or the performance of individual Intelligent Endpoints
and Access Points. A report feature provides summary data allowing you to
easily understand how your network performance has changed over time. This
allows you to identify the need to recongure or relocate access points as your
mining operation changes.
With Network Visualizer you can have the condence that your wireless network
is performing optimally.
