Lesson TwoYear Eleven English, 2.4The students are to plan for their
war poetry coursework by1) Reviewing the Power Point 2) Making a
diagram/table that has the similarities and differences 3) Look at an example
paragraph 4) Write two paragraphs. Homework is to watch the following
videos and make notes that can be applied to their tables/diagram. Write essay
draft. Draft is due on Monday 29, September, 2014. The essay will receive
some peer-feedback at that time.

the narrative structure of each. In your analysis, analyze mise en scene, camera
work and editing, along with the use of narrative structure, in the
representation of the artist. Additionally, consider how genre impacts the type
of narrative used. The writing for each music video must be at least 350

will need to use the computers for this. They must complete the Lets
Research sections on page 258. The students should collate their findings
on a three slide PowerPoint. It must be done by the end of the lesson. It
must be saved in their area. The evaluation is due on September 30, 2014

assignment. The students must complete their Mr, Myself and I
assignment. Lollie should be in the room to help. The girls must be split

of out of class lab work for this assignment.

Lesson OneYear Thirteen Media Studies, Media Lab (AN4)Complete
History of Music Videos: My Top 15 assignment. Note the due date
above.
Lesson TwoYear Twelve Literature, 2.4. Complete the task assigned in
last lesson.
Lesson ThreeYear Ten English, 2.4. The students must answer the
following question in timed conditions (50 minutes). How is Mercutio
presented in Act 1, Scene 4? Consider why Shakespeare has presented
him in this way and his role in the play. Essay must be done in their
exercise books. The students are allowed to use their notes. This essay
should be no less than two pages. Homework is to: Complete/redraft
essay to make it the best quality, as well as add additional comments
relating to the movie.
Lesson FourYear Twelve Media Studies (LBR), Media Lab (AN4). The
students are to complete the editing of their preliminary tasks. It must be
uploaded to Youtube and embedded on their blogs by the end of the
lesson. Lollie will be in the class to assist with this.

Lesson FiveYear Eleven Media Studies, Media Lab (AN4)The students
are to find a selection of three different tv shows that they are interested
in and then, using stills from the tv shows, make five slide PowerPoint
titled Common Conventions. In the PowerPoint , for each show, they
must: note the type of camera work used, the type of mise en scence used,
the use of sound and the use of editing. This is due at the end of the
lesson.
