Dear Friends, Family and Supporters,
We are very grateful for the grace of our Lord allowing us to serve our
blessed Savior in Sinaloa, Mexico. THANK YOU for your prayers and
faithful support. There is still so much to dowhere sin abounded,
grace did much more abound!

Wow, summer is officially over! With the help of the youth, parents, Brian
and Radames with their wives, Diana and Brenda, we conducted two weeks
of Daily Vacation Bible School July 9-19. About 80 attended between the two
churches, and about 20 made professions of faith. (See Brians prayer letter).
The next day, July 20, we packed the van with 12 youth to start our trip to sum-
mer camp in Aguascalientes via the new highway crossing through the moun-
tains of Durango and Sinaloa by way of 60+ tunnels and 60+ bridges! The week
was very challenging for everyone. Brian and Tap served as counselors and
preached for several sessions. Pray for our teenagers and their families.
The following weekend, August 1-3, 39 from our church in Alhuey traveled
to the mountains for our tenth annual Family Camp/Spiritual Retreat in
Surutato. The messages included: Three Questions to Help Decide What to
Do in Difficulties, Six Fundamental Truths for Lasting Change, and The
Number One Reason You Need Someone.
Tap will be starting a new Sunday School class for new believers at the end
of September. Pray for Ivan, Luis, Martin & Bety, and Melchor & Nadia.
This summer Tap has been taking other men and youth to minister in a near-
by Drug Rehabilitation Center. The teens go once every six weeks to challenge
the young men in soccerthey beat us pretty badly! Several are taking turns
in preaching after the game. [*See our recent Independence Day service.*]
