2.0 DEFINITION OF TERMS
SUPPLIER :
Supplier of the Main Equipment, designated by the PURCHASER to provide
the equipment and services in this document and its attachments.
PURCHASER :
The organization that issues the purchase order and specifications to the Vendor.
COMPANY :
TOTAL E&P MYANMAR As the ultimate user and owner or the authorized
representative of Company.
3.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
3.1 General requirements are available in document no. GS-EP-INS-101 "Instrumentation Engineering, Supply and
Construction General Requirements
3.2 All materials and equipment furnished shall be new, sound, and free of defects and shall meet the specified design
and environmental conditions.
4.0 SUPLIER'S RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 General
4.1.1 SUPPLIER shall assume single point responsibility for all aspects of the work. This shall include co-ordination
of the work, managing sub-SUPPLIERS, liaison with PURCHASER and timely completion.
4.1.2 Components or assemblies obtained by SUPPLIER from sub-SUPPLIER shall be compatible with the complete
equipment package, shall comply with the relevant specifications and shall be considered as an integral part of
SUPPLIER's scope of supply.
4.1.3 SUPPLIER shall provide performance guarantee, quality guarantee and warranty for all items included in
the equipment requisition.
4.1.4 Substitution or changes from the requirements of the purchase requisition must be approved in writing by
PURCHASER.
4.2 Experience Qualification
4.2.1 All equipment and materials offered and supplied shall be reliable and proven in the specified environmental and
process operating conditions.
4.2.2 Equipment and materials shall be manufacturer's standard product properly selected and applied for the specified
conditions.
4.3 Preferred Sub-SUPPLIERS
4.3.1 The PURCHASER list of preferred sub-SUPPLIERS Shall be as per Company's 'Approved Manufacturers List'
unless otherwise approved by PURCHASER.
4.3.2 In general sub-SUPPLIER materials and components shall comply with relevant standards referenced in
the technical requisition or relevant internationally recognized standards. In some cases a standard equipment
package may utilize manufacturer's standard sub-SUPPLIERS so that substitution is impractical. Details of these
items shall be provided as a clarification.
4.3.3 Details of proposed sub-SUPPLIERS and any exceptions or clarifications to Purchaser's preferred sub-SUPPLIERS
list shall be provided. Any changes or new exceptions after placement of a purchase order shall be subject to written
approval by PURCHASER.

4.4 Exceptions
Exceptions to the specification, datasheets, referred codes and standards and company specification shall be
clearly identified in the attached form "Technical Exceptions" Exceptions to the requisition requirement and
submitted along with the proposal for purchaser's review. In the absence of such a list complete compliance
will be assumed.
4.5 SUPPLIER Weight Control Procedure
4.5.1 SUPPLIER shall be aware of the importance placed by PURCHASER on the provision of accurate weight data,
which is considered critical to the topsides design.
4.5.2 SUPPLIER shall be responsible for the implementation of a weight control procedure that ensures that accurate
weight data for the equipment is provided promptly, in accordance with the requirements of the VDRS, see
Attachment "Vendor's Document Requirement Schedule".
4.5.3 SUPPLIER shall provide Equipment Weight data.
4.5.4 Contingencies will be applied to SUPPLIER's weight data by PURCHASER and should not be included by
SUPPLIER.
4.6 Technical Requiremnets
4.6.1 In the event of any conflict between Data Sheet and other company documents, the Data Sheet will take precedence.
However the vendor shall bring this to the notice of the purchaser.
