EXECUTIVE PROFILE

I am an Electrical Engineer with more than twenty-nine (29) years work experience with several
reputable EPC, Consultancy, and Oil & Gas Companies or Operators.

My major part of my career has been built on solid participation, quality-oriented output and timely
delivery of different phases of both brownfield and greenfield projects from Project Definition, Basic
Engineering, FEED/Conceptualization, and down to Detail Engineering, Construction Field Support,
FAT/SAT, Commissioning/Start-up. I also have several years experience in LNG Operations and
Maintenance.

Evonik Methionine SEA Pte Ltd is expanding its Methionine business by building the fifth methionine
plant (Me5 Project) in Jurong Island, Singapore to serve the Asia Pacific market. Methionine is a key
raw material for producing high quality animal feeds.

Responsibilities included:

Act as Electrical focal point for Evoniks Me5 Infrastructure Area

Specific accomplishments to date

Prepared training slides of the plant electrical power system for technicians.
Witnessed high voltage tests on the all 66 and 10kV equipment.
On-site training on operation and maintenance of Siemens 66kV 8DN8 and 10kV 8DB10, GIS
switchgear.
Preparation of SIMOCODE parameters for commissioning of Siemens intelligent motor control
units.
Factory acceptance test (FAT) for two (2) 10kV, 3MVA, fully enclosed, diesel emergency
generator sets.
Compilation of motor nameplate database for use of plant engineering staff.
Provided technical input e.g. system SLDs and schematics to commissioning team for all
electrical subsystems in the Infrastructure (Utilities) area.
Feasibility study and subsequent evaluation of cathodic protection schemes for natural gas
pipelines from local utilities company.
FAT for typical motor control (DOL and Soft Starter) schematics with the project DCS vendor.


ELECTRICAL SPECIALIST Dec 2009 to March 2012
Malaysia LNG (MLNG) Sdn Bhd
Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia

Employed to support MLNGs objective to achieve Superior Performing Asset status in the
PETRONAS group of companies by delivering projects aimed to increase production and
operating reliability.
Reports to the Engineering Senior Manager (ESM) of the Project Development Department
(PDD) on all technical issues for electrical discipline.
Took charge and single point responsibility to deliver fit-for-purpose electrical design on all
projects and plant change activities assigned by ESM.
Maintained technical integrity and quality of all project deliverables as per department
procedures.
Managed interfaces with other project stakeholders who includes Planning, Construction and
Supply Chain Managements.
Actively supported Health, Safety, Environment and Quality objectives of the Company.
Acted as a technical advisor and resource to junior engineers and designers.

MLNG Dua Debottlenecking Project
New electrical facilities included two (2) new gas turbine generators, one (1) diesel standby
genset, new HV feeders, HV and LV motors.
Provided technical assistance to the Electrical Construction and Commissioning team.

MLNG MARLIN Project
New 132kV/11kV substation to power very large motor drives (7MW, 19MW, and 47 MW) for
mini-LNG plant that uses boil gas from six (6) LNG tanks.
Involved with Detailed Feasibility Studies and FEED stage of the project, reviewing and vetting
deliverables from two (2) competing consultants.

MLNG New Boiler Project and Existing Boilers Rejuvenation
New electrical facilities to support the project included a new HV/LV substation.
Reviewed electrical deliverables for front end engineering gates 2 and 3 as per PETRONAS
project management procedure.
Participated in Project Risk Assessment and Constructability Review workshops.
Boilers rejuvenation requires detailed engineering activities for additional LV feeders.

MLNG Tiga ROSE Project
ROSE is code name for the project which aims to rectify instabilities in the operation of the acid
gas removal units (AGRU) in Trains 7 and 8.
New electrical facilities include HV motors, LV motor fin fan coolers and small LV loads.
Acted as PDD technical focal point between EPCC contractor thru MLNG project team and MLNG
asset holders.
Reviewed deliverables during the detailed design phase.


LEAD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER July 2008 to Nov 2009
Perunding Ranhill Worley Sdn Bhd
Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia

Engaged to lead a team of electrical engineers supporting Sarawak Shell Berhad's (SSB) Technical
Integrity Restoration Project on all its onshore and offshore assets.
Reported to the Design Engineering manager of the MESC Integrity Restoration (IR) project on all
technical issues relating to the Electrical IR Theme.
Provided technical guidance and direction to subordinate senior engineers.
Functioned as Technical focal point between SSB (client) and PRW Electrical team.
Managed interfaces with other Engineering disciplines, Procurement and Construction teams as
the disciplines interim project engineer.
Actively participated in preparation of documents for the Value Assurance Review (VAR) process.
Maintained technical integrity and quality of all project deliverables.
Review and analyse Corrective Action Worksheets (CAWs) raised by SSB with the intention of

Prepared running test procedures for all major electrical equipment on three (3) new wellhead

3 and 4.
Provided electrical discipline input for the preparation of each wellhead platform operating

Dolphin Energy Taweelah Gas Receiving Facility
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Tasked as a Startup Engineer to provide start-up assistance to the facility as part of the Clients
integrated team.
Supervised vendor activities for site acceptance test for gas-engine generator and fuel gas
heater.
Managed the completion of electrical punch lists in ICAPS.
Attended to technical queries from operations and provided appropriate solutions when

Co-generation Plant Project Proposal Petronas Penapisan Melaka Sdn Bhd

Project involves the installation of a co-generation plant inside the existing refinery.
This new plant consists of five 20MW turbine-driven generators, four of which is gas fuelled and
one is steam driven.
Other works include a new substation housing 33kV and 6kV switchgear will be installed, to lay
new 33kV cables, new transformers (generator and substation units) and modifications to be
implemented at existing 33kV boards at other substations.
