Instruction:
Explain to the students that they will use selected web sites to research
and do a biography on an important person in history

Discuss last step in their Research Project: Citing Sources- which should be
completed on the back on their Bio Cube Graphic Organizer Planning Sheet
Student Activities & Guidance:
Students will view the Brain Pop video-Citing Sources
Students will take the Brain Pop Quiz
Go over the Brain Pop Quiz and discuss any questions students have
Introduce and teach students how to use EasyBib- http://www.easybib.com/
Give 3 example web sites for students to practice citing
Have students export their works cited to a word document to hand in
Go over the 3 examples on the whiteboard and have students check their works
cited word document
Discuss any information missing in their 3 examples and how to find and add any
missing information

3 examples of works cited word document from EasyBib
Conclusion:
Students should have completed: Bio Cube Graphic Organizer Planning Sheet
including their works cited on the back of the planning sheet, Bio Cube
Creator & assembling their Bio Cube
