Four of the five major averages closed below their 50-day simple moving averages on Thursday. Dow
Industrials did not making 16,936 Fridays key support on the daily charts.

The death cross, where the 50-day trends below the 200-day, remains in play on the Russell 2000.

This negative cross-under began with the euro vs the dollar back on J uly 7. Nymex crude oil began
September with a death cross. The British pound had a death cross on Sept. 19. This week began
with a death cross on Comex gold. The dollar vs J apanese yen had a golden cross on Sept.9.

All five major equity averages are at risk of ending the week below their five-week modified moving
averages at 17000 Dow Industrials, 1983.4 S&P 500, 4512 Nasdaq, 8436 Dow Transports and
1155.35 on the Russell 2000.

The all-time or multiyear intraday highs are 17350.84 (Sept. 19) Dow Industrials, 2019.26 (Sept. 19)
S&P 500, 4610.57 (Sept 19) Nasdaq, 8714.94 (Sept. 19) Dow Transports, and 1213.55 (J uly 1)
Russell 2000).
Monthly value levels have become pivots at 16615 Dow Industrials, 1978.2 S&P 500, 4469 Nasdaq
and 8410 Dow Transports with a monthly pivot at 1149.70 on the Russell 2000.

Semiannual and annual value levels remain at 16301, 14835 and 13437 Dow Industrials, 1789.3,
1539.1 and 1442.1 S&P 500, 3972, 3471 and 3063 Nasdaq, 7423, 6249 and 5935 Dow Transports
and 966.72 and 879.39 Russell 2000.

Quarterly and semiannual risky levels remain at 17753 and 18522 Dow Industrials, 2052.3 and 2080.3
S&P 500, 4642 Nasdaq and 1293.11 and 1285.37 on the Russell 2000.

Quarterly and semiannual pivots are 4569 Nasdaq, 8256 and 8447 Dow Transports and 1139.81
Russell 2000.

Dow Industrials: (16946) Weekly, monthly, semiannual and annual value levels are 16927, 16615,
16310, 14835 and 13467 with a daily risky level at 17228, the Sept. 19 all-time intraday high at
17350.64 and quarterly and semiannual risky levels at 17753 and 18552.
S&P 500 (1966.0) Semiannual and annual value levels are 1789.3, 1539.1 and 1442.1 with monthly
and weekly pivots at 1978.2 and 1981.1, a daily risky level at 2000.5, the Sept. 19 all-time intraday
high at 2019.26, and quarterly and semiannual risky levels at 2052.3 and 2080.3.
NASDAQ (4467) Semiannual and annual value levels are 3972, 3471 and 3063 with monthly,
weekly and quarterly pivots at 4469, 4577 and 4569, the Sept. 19 multiyear intraday high at 4610.57

and semiannual risky level at 4642.

NASDAQ 100 (NDX) (4008) Monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual value levels are 3972, 3894,
3515, 3078 and 2669 with weekly and daily risky levels at 4090 and4096, a semiannual risky level at
4105 and the Sept. 19 multiyear intraday high at 4118.91.

Dow Transports (8385) Quarterly, semiannual and annual value levels are 8256, 7423, 6249 and
5935 with weekly and semiannual pivots at 8402 and 8447, a daily resistance at 8538, and the Sept.
19 all-time intraday high at 8714.94.
Russell 2000 (1110.24) Annual value levels are 966.72 and 879.39 with daily, semiannual, weekly
and monthly pivots at 1121.91, 1139.81, 1154.64 and 1149.70, the J uly 1 all-time intraday high at
1213.55 and semiannual and quarterly risky levels at 1285.37 and 1293.11.
The SOX (635.42) Quarterly, semiannual and annual value levels are 626.96, 608.02, 512.94,
371.58 and 337.74 with daily and weekly risky levels at 656.08 and 653.52, the Sept. 19 multiyear
intraday high 659.64 and monthly risky level at 662.59.

Dow Utilities: (546.00) Quarterly, semiannual and annual value levels are 536.44, 523.72 and 497.53
with annual and weekly pivots at 548.70 and 550.91, a daily risky level at 553.14, the J une 30 all-time
intraday high at 576.98 and monthly and semiannual risky levels at 598.26 and 612.49.
10-Year Note (2.508) A quarterly value level is 3.048 with a daily pivot at 2.543, and weekly, monthly
and semiannual risky levels at 2.475, 2.263, 2.071, 1.999 and 1.779.
30-Year Bond (3.215) A quarterly value level is 3.971 with daily and annual pivots at 3.241 and
3.283, and weekly, annual, semiannual and weekly risky levels at 3.216, 3.107 and 3.082, and monthly
and semiannual risky levels at 2.791 and 2.487.
Comex Gold ($1221.4) A daily value level is $1211.4 with quarterly and weekly pivots at $1234.6
and $1232.6 and monthly, semiannual and annual risky levels at $1372.2, $1613.0, $1738.7, $1747.4
and $1818.8.
Nymex Crude Oil ($92.49) A weekly value level is $87.59 with a daily pivot at $92.70 and monthly,
semiannual, annual and quarterly risky levels at $101.21, $106.48, $107.52 and $107.70.
The Euro (1.2742) A semiannual value level is 1.2203 with daily and weekly pivots at 1.2741 and
1.2834 and monthly, annual and quarterly risky levels at 1.3340, 1.3382 and 1.4079.

The Dollar versus Japanese Yen (108.72) Monthly and annual value levels are 99.92 and 93.38
with a weekly pivot at 108.22 and daily and quarterly risky levels at 109.97 and 112.83.

The British Pound (1.6312) A weekly value level is 1.6056 with daily, quarterly and monthly risky
levels at 1.6422, 1.6874 and 1.6928.
