I am most grateful to those involved in getting The Secret movie and CD series to the
public. My wife and I watched this movie several years ago, and we both realized in
amazement that these were beliefs/practices we have always known and subconsciously
yearned to naturally use all our lives. Soon thereafter, the movie and CD became
Christmas gifts. : )
A few months ago my wife had health concerns which we sought medical help for. Her
symptoms were indicative of a prescribed medical path to follow, and physical evidence
of that symptom were found, surgery was scheduled. In the depths of my despair, what is
in front of all our eyes rang throughout my essence.
I listened to, meditated on, and practiced all the teachings, absorbing every word I could
glean. I reminded my wife of how healthy she is.
Surgery was performed... no sign was found, at all! The positive pulsates through our
lives.

I bought The Secret book at an airport after hearing in the background the Oprah show
that discussed The Secret. I never thought about it really, but I saw it at the airport and
the cover looked intriguing. So I read it on the way home from my vacation. When I
reached the airport I thought, how interesting that book is. But only "interesting".
I went to the baggage claim and told the woman standing next to me that my luggage
always came out first, and told her, "Just watch." I was kinda (more than kinda) doubting
it. But sure enough, it was first out of the shoot! I looked at her like I knew it and walked
out of the airport feeling elated, but still not really "buying it". It felt more like a new dog
trick. And I pretty much forgot about it, and went through life as usual.
I always make a practice of going into Cracker Barrell to rent an audio book to make my
driving more tolerable (I drive a great deal for my job). I went in and saw The Secret
there in the rack and thought, "Why not?" And I chose that one. I put it in and became
totally mesmerized. It was strange to me, but for all reasons it made total sense. Thinking
back through my life I remembered all the phrases I was raised with: "Watch out, what
you ask for you just might get it." "What goes around, comes around." "What you reap,
you will sow."
I listened over and over to the audio book. So much so that I bought it. Funny, I went to
Target and saw it there on the shelf. That's what made me buy it.
When I heard the part that said to start small, like a cup on coffee, I thought, "Big deal... a
cup of coffee. Anyone can get that. Just make it, buy it, whatever." That was a weak test,
I thought. But after that my job had me at a job at 4:30am, and I left my hotel thinking I'd
stop at a 7-11 or Speedway and I'd get coffee then. But when I hit the road I didn't see a
gas station. And when I did, I went to the door and saw that in Cincinnati, Ohio, they
didn't open until 5am. Suddenly I wanted a cup of coffee more than I'd ever wanted one
in my life. I immediately remembered The Secret. I "put my order in" and I went to my
job site and looked immediately across the street and saw a coffee shop with a huge neon
light that screamed CLOSED. But The Secret taught me to know that it was a done deal. I
walked across the street and looked in the window and saw humans. I waved. They came
to the door and opened it and I told them that I really wanted a cup of coffee. They told
me that I was lucky. They had been up all night playing a new video game and I was
welcome to come in and have a cup of coffee... and in fact told me I could have a Mocha
if I'd like. That was proof that I was on to something.
I put my order in to win that election that day, and don't know what I could have done
differently, but we lost. I didn't get depressed though. It was so wonderful to be in control
of my emotions and my thoughts. It was a new day and the first day of my life the way I
know it today.
I loved the audio so much that I wanted to get the movie. I'd never seen it. I walked into a
Borders, which I never frequent. I bought the only copy they had in stock. Lucky? NO, I
claimed it.
I wake up every day now and hit my phone to play the song that makes me smile and my
foot tap and my expectations for the day to be all it can be. I am so grateful for my life,
my health, my family, for the love I have in my life, and for my job. Since The Secret, I
only run into "happy" people. I've shared it with my family and tell them that I haven't
lost my mind... I haven't "drank the kool-aid" and I'm not wearing Nikes waiting on the
comet. But I have to admit that it's a new way of thinking and living... one that I know
works.
So here's the best part!
Two days ago I had another election, and I claimed victory. I did everything that felt right
and each time I had inspired thought to action, I did it. And you were right, it was fun and
I didn't feel like I was going across the grain... it was joyful and I was so happy. Needless
to say, I didn't try to control things to get the desired effect. I trusted the universe to
provide, and it did. I am so grateful.
So as if that wasn't enough...
Driving home I again listened to The Secret, and I made my request to the universe to get
money that was unexpected - so that I could help my daughter make her wedding as
wonderful as she deserves. I wanted enough to pay for my son and his girlfriend to come
to the wedding without causing him hardship. I said it, knew it was on the way, and knew
that the "how" was not up to me. And I became grateful.
While driving I saw a homeless man standing on the highway with a sign about needing
money for heart medication, so I gave him money. I truly believe that these are integrity
tests, and The Secret says that if you think or say you can't afford to help, the universe
will grant your wish... or make your thoughts right. So I felt good about it whether it
"worked" or not.
I went to a birthday party that night and my mom was there. My step-dad died from
cancer a month ago. She slipped me an envelope with a check for $3000 in it. She said it
was his idea before he died. There it was. Just like I knew it would be. I wanted to put my
hands in the air and thank the universe, but thought folks would think I'd lost my mind.
Then, before I went to sleep, I began to feel a coldsore coming. Those of you afflicted by
those know that that feeling is just the beginning of what is in store. But I spoke my
gratitude for my healing, over and over. Not just words, but with all of me. This morning,
I woke to find it gone. No scar, no nothing.
My husband says I am a witch. I smile, I am a happy, grateful person who knows that I
was supposed to find The Secret. I am now buying the audio version for my children.
How wonderful they can know it at a young age. Thank you.

Living my life how I wanted it

A few weeks ago I felt my life was going nowhere, and I just came to the end and thought
I did not have a bright future and I didn't deserve anything. Being a spiritual person, I
asked god for help and guidance, hoping he could help me.
That day I went for a walk to my mother's, feeling sad and angry. She was moving
addresses, she had packed up everything, and she only had her table in the kitchen. On
the kitchen table was a book. It was The Secret. But I took no notice of it, thinking it was
just another novel.
My mum said a friend found the book on the side of the road and brought it over when
they were visiting her.
I went home still angry and wishing I could do better for myself.
A few days later I went into our garage and noticed the book was on one of the shelves.
My dad said mum dropped it off in case one of us wanted to read it. I was drawn to the
book and picked it up and took it to my room. For some reason when I began reading I
started to feel happy, and felt a goodness inside of me.
I started to clear all negative thoughts and started to concentrate on the things I wanted in
my life .
After that day my friends seemed to treat me differently, and I got visitors all the time,
and when I gave people money I somehow got the same amount back mysteriously. If I
gave my friends money when I knew I needed it I'd clean the house and find the exact
amount I gave them. If I thought of someone I'd see them that same day.
So many good things are happening for me every day, because when I expect good things
then I receive good things.
I've only been using it for a little while, but it has made me A LOT OF A BETTER
PERSON!!!! And when I believe in receiving something I receive it.

I wanted to share The Secret with people...

Well, when I watch The Secret DVD, even now, I get so happy I cry. I just think how
wonderful these people on The Secret team are, for being responsible for making millions
around the globe so happy and so exhilarated by their own life experiences.
When I shared The Secret with my mum, and saw her receiving all she had asked for, I
got this feeling in my stomach, almost like I had achieved something. When I hear of
people who have used the Secret I feel so happy for them. But I thought, what if I could
be responsible for all of this? What a feeling that would be...
So I decided, yesterday actually, that I wanted to share this with people - people who
didn't know it already. I said, "I want to share this with everyone."
Today we had a daytime get together, which had been planned a long time ago. My mum
had her friends round, and some of them have kids my age. There were about 15 other
people there, and toward the end we were all sitting around by our pool (which we had
prior attracted with The Secret), and somehow or another we started talking about The
Secret.
I fetched my book of The Secret, and a page I had printed off from The Secret Scrolls
about gratitude, which many of you would have read, and got one of the guys who was
there to read it. It got passed around the circle and we were all in a very positive talk. One
woman there was saying, "It works, you know, it's so amazing." And people wanted to
know more about it. It was really surprising, because some of the people there were not
ones who usually accepted new ideas, but so easily they were taking interest in this.
I also bought out 'The Optimists Creed' which I had printed out. Soon the feeling of the
evening changed, and I felt more happy. That's when it hit me - it was just yesterday I
had wanted to share The Secret with more people, and today was the day I did! I was
soooo shocked. Like, seriously! One day - one day - was all it took to manifest!
I love the feeling of sharing, being responsible for this level of happiness. I lent out my
book of The Secret to one of the women there. It feels great. I wanted to spread this
knowledge and now I feel like I have achieved something so wonderful, and it's
unbelievable!
I hope you too get to feel this feeling, one that makes you just want to cry because the
plane is so overwhelming and just astounding.

Believing without Knowing - transforming every minute

My name is Graziella Thake. I was born in India to George and Patricia Thake. I'm of
Maltese heritage, and adore the world.
I have been strongly driven to follow my intuition since I was very young - at the age of
14 I started to mediate, not really knowing how powerful working on my energy could
be. I focussed my goals and my thinking, and without knowing how, I started to create
the things I wanted and needed.
I always wanted to be a model, and one day when I was 16 someone asked me to work
for their agency.
I loved the world and its people, and I wanted to work to help, so I studied psychology
and wanted to do voluntary work so I could gain practical experience, and one day to
become a forensic psychologist. These things too came to pass. By 21 I was working in a
maximum security jail.
Yet I did not fully appreciate the power of the Secret till I was in my late 20s and I had
left forensics and begun my company. I started to write programs more intuitively, and
began to travel and speak, just trusting that I had something to offer.
6 years go my world crumbled when my father and uncle died within the same year
whilst I was pregnant with my first child and separating from my partner. I kept focussing
and believing through some of the hardest moments I have ever faced that year, and in
the year after that.
I started to go back to things I had written as a 14 and later 20 year old, and pulled out a
two page document I'd written in the year 2000 that spoke of all the things I sought to
create - the relationships and situations I wanted and aspired to create around me so I
could achieve the vision that I felt I could.
When The Secret was shown to me by a friend, I slept through the whole thing, but
something became embedded in my subconscicous and I started to adopt the same sure
faith I'd had at 14.
Since that time two years ago I have religiously believed that I have the things I need. I
still feel challenged at times, but the propensity of my faith to create all I need has been
tremendous. In the last year I have started the a global academy born of the 14 programs
that I wrote in consciousness development. I have begun to license internationally and
have met amazing people just sitting beside me on planes. I have seen the leadership
institute in New Zealand thrive and create amazing things for people, and have arrived at
a key passion in the creation of my foundation in business for social responsibility
approaches. I have met the man of my dreams who is perfect for me and I for him, in
every way, and he is my absolute soul mate without a doubt. I'm about to give birth to my
second child, and my daughter Serenity is thriving and learning to live the Secret, too, at
5 years old.
Next year another dream will be realised - I will get married in my country of origin,
something I've always wanted to do, but a dream I felt had died with my father. We will
fly 200 of our friends over on a charter for a special and miraculous moment.
The Secret offered me many things that affirmed so much about life existence and the
power we have to interconnect and work with each other. It brings together the best of
life and offers us inspiration for when we suddenly forget how powerful that energy is.
I've to date passed on at least 200 copies of The Secret, and will continue to do so. Still
more challenges face me at times, but I hold true to the energy of the Secret and its
principles, and amazing things continue to happen for me and those I love. The Secret has
been something that affirms all of us, so thank you to the people who took the time to
create and share such amazing and straightforward inspiration. The gift of The Secret is it
goes on.

The Power to overcome an addiction

While I was home in Michigan visiting my family, my cousin had asked me to take her to
work. I didn't think anything of it until almost every night I went to pick her up she would
get in my car and be drunk. She worked at a gentleman's club, and to make more money
she would drink herself silly.
I was very upset at this, and concerned for her health and safety. I had this on my mind
and was trying to think of ways to help her and support her in stopping her destructive
habit.
My brother needed to go to the book store to pick up a few books that he had ordered.
While he was picking up his books I saw The Secret. I picked up the book and asked him
if he could get it for me. After we got home I found out that my cousin had been arrested
for drunk driving - and this was not her first offense. Once she was home she told us she
had lost everything, her car, her license, that horrid job. She was also told she had to go
into rehab for 30 days. Rehab was not bad news.
While she was getting ready to leave for rehab I asked her what she could and couldn't
take with her. One of the things that she said she was allowed to have was inspirational
books. I had not yet had a chance to read The Secret, but I found that the need was
greater for her.
When I went to visit her, she told me that The Secret had helped her to center herself,
think more positively on overcoming her addiction, and helped her make goals for
herself. Not only this, but The Secret had been passed around the center and had helped
many women change the ways they were thinking.
Today she is still clean, and her and I both have our gratitude rocks that we picked out
together. She spends more time with her daughter and is in college.
Anything is possible when you think positive and believe.
"FREE HAIRCUTS"

I read the story about the person giving out $1.00 bills with a blessing written on each
one. I decided to do something kinda sorta like that.
I give free haircuts (kids only), and with each haircut I give a gratitude rock. Upon giving
them the rock I explain the concept of being grateful for the things they have, and the
more they are grateful for the more things they will bring into their life to be grateful for.
I also ask them to wish for something small, so that when they do manifest that
something small, they will believe, and then they can go on to bigger and better things.
The kids are now calling them 'magic rocks'.
So what I'm trying to tell you is that you don't have to just give money. Find out what
you're good at and love to do, then give it away, even if it's just your time.
The kids and their parents are very appreciative, but little do they know that I'm getting
more out of giving the haircuts then they are getting out of the haircuts...
I'm sure that you all know the reason for the free haircuts. I feel joy, happiness, and love,
lifting me higher so that my dreams will manifest.
One day I gave 39 haircuts and I manifested $1,200.00. So it does work. You just have to
be sure that you're giving with all your heart and not just to get something back.

Getting Blessings Every Day

Well, this is my story. A few days ago I saw a video Youtube about a guy who had quartz
crystals, and he would hold a crystal and think about something he wanted to manifest.
And I did the same, because he said that crystals worked like memory cards - like crystals
would memorize the intention and it would send it back.
2 weeks passed and nothing, until I got a phone call from my agent. She wanted me to be
on this TV ad. I was sooooo happy.
I kept doing the same thing. Every night I would go to bed, hold my crystal, and think
and feel good about that image I would hold in my mind.
From the day I started using the crystals and thinking about what I want, there isn't a day
that I don't get blessed by something good. And I feel thankful for that.
I do believe in Law of Attraction because my mom is always attracting bad things into
her life, even though she watched "The Secret". I'm always giving advice to her, but she
just can't change the way she thinks and her brain patterns.
I'm getting blessings every day, and I'm going to keep using the law of attraction... it's a

It was just a week before my final exams of the year that my dad gifted me the thing that
completely changed my life. On that day (considered as the most auspicious day by me,
as I got to know the Secret!!) I had a fight with my friends and a tough time with my
studies! I was absolutely in no mood to watch a film, but still I opened it and read its title:
"THE SECRET". At that very moment, I found myself attracted to that DVD, which was
completely a new thing to me. I glanced at the cover for a few minutes and I kept it in my
cupboard.
I sat to study, but instead started thinking about the problems in my life - the fights, the
sleepless nights, the stress, my health... everything came to my mind. I wanted an answer
to all these problems, but wondered... IS THERE ANY ANSWER? That was the time
when my eyes suddenly stuck on that DVD, and something inside me told me, THIS is an
answer to all your problems!
I got so attracted to it that I opened the DVD and was straight in front of my computer.
And I finally watched "THE SECRET".
I merely have no words to describe the feeling of happiness that I experienced while
watching it. There were times when THE SECRET words electrified me! The miracle
man story, the gratitude rock, the Aladdin's story - I can't forget any of them!!! Its
chapters were amazing - especially THE SECRET TO YOU; that was my favorite.
From that day I have started visualizing my goals and I have focused on what I really
want, and guess what... now I have started getting far better grades, the relationship with
my friends is just outstanding, I now have better health, and people just gaze at me telling
me, WOW! WHAT A PERFECT KIND OF LIFE DO YOU LIVE?!
And now every day I thank the universe for helping me to discover none other than
MYSELF!! I cannot only see the difference in my life, but also can experience the divine
being in me! Now I have started visualizing greater goals and I'm determined to reach
them.

have really brought a revolution. I fell THE SECRET is a must-see for all the people on

A Passion For Being Creative

In October 2005, after 27 years in manufacturing, I was made redundant and found
myself the wrong side of 40 to remain in the industry. Plagued with an arthritic back I
sought less manually intensive work, and secured an office based position. To be honest
it simply wasn't for me - the pay was low and boredom set in, which began to show in
respect of my output, and my contract by mutual agreement was eventually terminated.
Unable to keep up my mortgage repayments, I put my house on the market and made a
quick sale, investing my money in my photographic business. My passion for
photography, and particularly that associated with shooting fashion, has taken me around
the world working in the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia, and
next month sees me venturing off to the Arctic Circle.
As yet the money isn't rolling in big time, but on a weekly basis I now find myself in
receipt of more bookings as I visualize the phone ringing and messages from clients
pouring in via my website. I also visualize cheques dropping through my letterbox and
they are steadily on the increase. I had fears about setting up my own business, but with
the support of a close friend who recommended I read 'The Secret', I began to have a
greater appreciation of the law of attraction and my right to enjoy good health, wealth,
and happiness. Despite things not being perhaps as straight forward as I'd like them to be,
I keep myself in a positive frame of mind and maintain the belief that my business will
flourish and be a success.
As well as having my Universal Bank cheque posted on my bedroom wall and also a
copy in my studio, I have also written down my own words of inspiration to remind me
of why I am following the path I am now on. I call this reminder 'The Photographers
Secret', and it reads as follows: With my eyes I gaze upon you, with my heart I capture
you, and with passion I feed our souls.

Little gifts make a big difference

I was at work one day and had ordered some lunch only to discover my wallet wasn't in
my bag. Worried, I apologised to the staff and promised to be back shortly, as I had hopes
that my wallet had fallen out in my car. As I was searching my bag one last time a
women leans across me and says, "I'll pay for that." I replied that I couldn't let her do
that, but she just brushed my protest off and said it was her do-something-nice day, and
she was trying to earn brownie points for heaven. As I thanked her profusely my heart
soared - what a wonderful thing to have happen!
As I walked back to my ward I just kept repeating "thank you, thank you." I shouldn't
have been surprised that the universe would take care of me in that way, but I was, and it
gave the rest of my day the most beautiful glow. I'm sure my patients notice the
difference!
Oh, and my wallet was found safely at home by my fiance!
I'm very grateful to that woman for reminding me of the huge joy one little gift can bring.
And for saving me from spending the rest of my shift hungry!

Life Changes

I grew up in a poor but loving family who showed me how to care for myself and others.
My parents both came from large hard working families who took off them if any needed
a place to stay or eat. Being the youngest sibling of girls in our family, I saw and heard
more and learned more from my parents and family about moral rights and wrongs. But
also, becoming a mother at 17 years I got to see how it was being a mother, and what I
had been taught by them. I am still married to the same man of 42 years who never
changed once in the marriage or tried to.
Our oldest daughter told me about "The Secret" about 4 years ago, and I bought it one
year ago. I am the caretaker for many, including friends, and my Mother, who passed
away two years ago, and the book has given me daily support and guidance. It has also
made me take a long look at family and friends that before used me for whatever their
needs were, and mine were never taken into consideration. But my Mom was always my
strongest supporter and best friend during these years, standing up for me, and I realize
that she taught me to be positive regardless of negative people.

Dreams always come true

Before reading or even hearing about The Secret I had always lived by it. I always
thought (constantly) about what I wanted, and thanked God every day for the things that I
had and had achieved, no matter how big or small. I knew I had the power to do anything
I wanted and that the world, the universe, and my life were all controlled by me. When I
spoke to people or watched people on television who went into space talking about how
"insignificant" they felt against the image of Earth, I always disagreed and thought, "No.
It makes me feel like the most powerful thing in the Universe. And WOW! I created that
Earth the way it is today."
I was never the "top student" at school, and teachers very often had no faith in me as I
was so quiet and never answered questions in class, etc. But my Mum always helped me
to keep my own faith, and she told me I could do anything I wanted if I put my mind to it.
I could achieve greatness and wealth no matter what anybody else said or thought about
me.
Then when I was 15 I started to learn French at school. I found people who spoke foreign
languages truly amazing, so I really really wanted to be able to do it myself. I quickly
became the top student in French, and my teacher was always praising me for my work
and my new-found ability in speaking a foreign language. I loved it so much that I carried
on studying it at my A levels, and also picked up Spanish.
Despite flying high in all lessons and quickly gaining fluency in both French and
Spanish, people around me, especially my friends, laughed at me and said I would never
do anything with languages. But that didn't faze me. I believed in myself and had
thoughts and dreams about myself in the future and how rich and successful I would
become. I dreamt of my giant houses all over the world and my famous businesses.
Anyway, I never let go of those dreams and thought about them every day. I didn't know
how I would achieve my greatness and success, I just knew I would.
Then my mum found a German course in the paper free to under 18's, so without any
hesitation I went and again quickly began to pick up the language. A lot of my friends
were going out and partying at night and at weekends, but for some reason that never
appealed to me, and learning my languages was all I would do. I didn't even realise how
much studying I was doing, but it made me happy when I would go abroad and speak to
others who knew my languages.
When I finished my A levels and had to decide what to do next, all my friends got jobs
and were all earning money, and they would say to me how much they were earning and
what they were buying. At first it made me want to get a job, but something in my mind
sent me to university, where I continued my studies in foreign languages. I was struggling
with money, but I never let it upset me. I had to pay for books and petrol to get me to uni
every day, and my bank balance wasn't looking too good.
After taking my exams in the first year, for the first time in my life I began to think, is it
worth it? Am I ever going to get where I want to get? Should I just quit and get a job like
everyone else and live a normal life? I had a part time job but it was nothing special.
I was looking in all the papers at the job advertisements, but then I got my exam results
back. I got 100% in all my exams in the first year. They came at just the right time, and I
thought, Wow! I can do whatever I want. I am special, I will get to where I want to get.
Then I heard Oprah Winfrey talking about The Secret on one of her shows, and I ordered
it from the Internet that same day and read it in a weekend. It made me think back on all
the times in my life when I felt like I had a gift of power. I thought, I can do it, I can have
the house of my dreams and I will have successful businesses - I don't know how but I
will.
After finishing the book I thought all day long about my huge mansion in the countryside
with an indoor and an outdoor pool, animals running round everywhere, hundreds of
acres of land and a vision of me sitting in a luxury study in my house sitting at a desk
writing a book.
I thought no more of it until I was on my way to my part time job that night. Suddenly,
out of nowhere an idea about a children's book - teaching them foreign languages - came
to me. It was an amazing idea and I couldn't believe I thought of it. The universe was
helping me achieve my dreams.
That evening whilst at work I got talking to a colleague who I'd never spoken to before. It
turned out he was studying French at A level and wasn't doing too well. He had heard me
talking about my 100% pass at uni and wondered if I'd tutor him. "I'll give you £20 ($40)
an hour," he said. Willingly I set up a lesson, and after a few lessons he said one of his
friends wanted me to teach her as well. I also placed an advert on the Internet advertising
my services as a language tutor, and within a month I had acquired 9 students who were
all giving me £20 an hour. I was getting £180 ($360) a week for 9 hours work! The
universe obviously didn't want me to quit university. I also started writing my series of
children's books teaching Spanish and I sent the first draft to a publisher who, to my
surprise, said they would be happy to publish my book. That was a month ago, and I'm
now in my second year of uni and the publisher has given me all the time I need to
complete a series of 8 books, and then they'll publish them. My dreams are unravelling all
from a single thought. Every day I tell myself I'll be rich in no time at all. All my students
I teach are getting great grades at school, and it makes me happy to know that they're
happy. I've also started to do a bit of translating to add to my income, and all my old
friends from school are shocked by my earning power at just 19 years old. But I don't
gloat about it, and they're all really happy for me.
I know that in a few years time I'll be writing on this web page about how I have my
house and my businesses and all my dreams have come true.
I love telling people my story and they love to hear it, and it has pushed more and more
of my students to continue with their studies in foreign languages. I tell them to never
give up on their dreams, the Universe and God are here to help us and what greater power
can we need. I also enjoy helping other students at uni overcome their problems in all
areas of life through positive thinking and the law of attraction, and I have become a sort
of "spiritual agony uncle". But I never dwell on their negative thoughts, as I know they'll
attract more. I help them to see what good things they already have in their lives, and
they always leave me with a smile and a look of amazement on their faces, almost as if
they've been given a new life. I want to help others all my life through positivity, and
now that I've helped myself I can help everyone else. I never forget about myself though.
I would love to become a motivational speaker alongside everything else.
I love my life, it's amazing and it's all appeared through positive thinking (and a gentle
nudge from my Mum). So if I, at 19 years old, can start a mini tutoring business,
commence writing a series of children's books and help others to get their lives going in
the right direction, anyone can do anything. I thank God and the universe every day that I
didn't give up on my dreams. Thank you!
From pain to pleasure

My story starts when I was doing my Christmas shopping in 2007 and I went into the
local bookstore... The Secret jumped out at me. I had already seen the film about 6
months before but had put it to the back of my mind. There were only 3 copies left on the
shelf and I bought all three. One for myself, one for my Dad, and one for my brother.
I was at a particular low in my life at that point. I was in job I disliked and I was in a bad
relationship where my partner had been violent towards me. I felt like all my dreams had
been shattered, and I didn't know where to go or what I should do to get my life back on
track and feel the happiness I so desperately wanted and deserved to feel.
I was booked on a 2 week Christmas holiday to Thailand, and took The Secret book with
me. I started reading the book and found that I could just not put it down. I got to work on
The Secret right away, and the first thing I tried was to attract more money to me. I put in
my request to the universe that I wanted to find some money on the floor that had been
dropped, and 18 hours later there it was, a bunch of Thai notes lying on the floor. Then I
found coins after coins lying on the floor!!! I picked them up with a smile on my face,
and knew from that moment my life was going to change.
The day I came back from that holiday I ended the bad relationship and told the violent
guy where to go. I set off on my new path with The Secret in my hand, a path that I
deserved and one where I would at last find happiness.
I continued to work at my job, which was in Sales, and business was particularly slow at
that time. I applied The Secret to bring in some big orders. I asked for some business to
come in that would be worth £170,000, and sure enough 2 days later I got a call from one
of my buyers asking to list one of our products, and gained £190,000 with just one
product being sold! Seeing this happen I started to realise and believe in my dream once
more of going self-employed and being able to achieve this for myself.
As I was living on my own and supporting myself, I didn't know how I was going to
leave the security of my monthly salary and still be financially secure, but asked the
universe to send me a miracle. I put the order in and waited patiently!
Then, about a couple of months later, a lovely guy called Kevin came into my life and we
quickly became close friends. One night he came over to my place and downloaded an 8
week audio course onto my iPod and said, you will love this. It was called the Millionaire
Mindset. As I listened to it the words just clicked in my brain, and I knew from that
instant exactly what I had to do! I knew that I had to get on with my dream, and I told
Kevin the next day that I had made a decision - was going to concentrate on my dream of
going self-employed and put my 100% effort into it!
Then something really amazing happened! Two days after making that decision my boss
called me into his office and said to me that he could see that I didn't belong in his
company. He said that he could see my mind was elsewhere and that I was not focused on
his business. He then offered me £10,000 to leave the company that day, and said I could
keep the company car for another 3 months until I sorted my self out!!! I of course
jumped at his very generous offer and was so happy. The Universe had just delivered yet
another miracle to me!!
It's 4 weeks ago that I left that job and have started my own business called Canine
Angel. I had been training in Animal healing and therapy for the last six years on a part
time basis, and I was yearning for an opportunity to go full time and make a go of it. I
never in that six years gave up hope or faith that I would one day achieve this! I am
having so much fun starting this project, and everything I need is coming to me. I have
100% total faith and belief that this was meant to happen, and I know it will grow into
something totally amazing!
I have an even bigger dream and vision and can actually see it in my mind and in the
future. I am already thankful that it is on its way to me. I see myself buying some land
and building a Healing Centre for people and animals. The Secret taught me that you are
allowed to dream as big as you want, and nothing is impossible, so I want not just one
healing centre, but several around the world.
Every day I use The Secret, and every day I see it working. The Secret says that like
attracts like, and I am meeting so many people who are on the same wavelength as me,
and I often meet people who tell me I should read The Secret!! Of course I tell them I
already have!!!!!!
The Secret, when used properly (and it takes a little practice), brings about true magic
and miracles in all areas of your life. Here are just a couple more examples where I have
used The Secret had produced amazing results for me...
I train in Tae Kwon Do martial arts, and recently went into the Welsh championships! I
saw myself winning the gold medal, and amazingly I came away with not just one gold
medal but two!
I used The Secret on betting on some horse races, which I never usually win. I won three
races that day and came away with £100 profit in my pocket!! Everyone around me that
day kept saying, "How do you do it? You're so lucky." I replied, "No, I just know the
Secret!"
Just the other day I asked the universe to bring me in someone who could help me with
clearing a virus I had on my computer. I met a guy the next day who did virus removals,
and he did it for me for free! I thanked him and the universe and am now enjoying my
computer being back to full health!
The Secret has come about in such mass just at the right time. We can all start to heal our
own lives, which will lead to healing others lives and ultimately go onto healing this
planet. I already see Planet Earth healing, and I am truly grateful for that!!
If you haven't read The Secret yet, then make it your number one priority... you were
drawn to this site for a reason! Read it all through once, and then read a little bit every
day to reprogramme those negative mindsets you have been living with all your life.
Keep practicing with it - it takes time to get it right, but when you do, you will feel a real
buzz!!

For most of my life I had learned that when I imagined things, they seemed to come true.
Usually it would be things I didn't want however, like I would think and worry about
losing a friendship and sure enough, I'd lose that friend. I never saw the actual pattern for
many years though.
In 1995 I found myself divorced after 17 years of marriage. I was fairly broke and scared
to be on my own again. My ex and I remained on good terms, and we had 4 sons. I had a
fifth son from another relationship that I cared for on my own. I barely made enough
money to cover bills, and used my credit card to buy groceries on many occasions. At
Christmas time I always felt that if I was buying something for someone else, God would
provide for me, as I wasn't splurging on myself. I would pick a child's name at Christmas
that was in need and buy them something, and it was anonymous. If I saw a homeless
person I would often go buy them a hamburger meal and a drink and drop it off to them
and would simply feel that it would be something I would hope someone would do for
me if I were in the same situation.
Sure enough, I would get a refund here or there, or someone would give me things
unexpectedly. So I truly felt I was being taken care of many times over for that which I
had done for others.
In 1998 I re-married. I feel he is the love of my life, so again I was blessed. I had no
money and actually had filed bankruptcy the year before, but at the encouragement of a
friend I applied for an FHA loan and was able to buy my own condo, in California no
less! I felt totally blessed, but I truly wanted a house someday. I told my husband, within
2 years we will have a house, I just know it. He asked me, how will we do that? I said, I
don't know, but I just know. Well, it was about that time housing prices took off and we
were able to sell our condo and buy a house way beyond what we ever thought we would
be able to. Not only did we do that once, but twice!
I told my husband, if we are grateful and we are generous to others even when we feel
broke, God will take care of us. I always felt that way, and never knew there was an
actual reason for it or law.
After watching The Secret and listening to the book on CD as well, I am further inspired.
It was near the end of May and I envisioned getting some extra money by the end of the
month that I hadn't expected, no particular amount. I didn't realize it was already May
29th. I had missed 3 days of work that pay period, but in my absence my boss turned in
my time sheet. When I came into work on the 30th, he told me that he didn't dock me any
time off. I want to mention I have worked for him for over 15 years and he has never
done that before! That gave me an extra $600 that I definitely had not expected. It
worked that fast!
I am turning my dreams now into my thoughts, and want to make them all happen. I want
to help others reach their dreams as well. I will always remember to be grateful and
generous all along the way too. Thank you for reading my story, The Secret is truly
something I needed at this point in my life. To be continued........
