des anderen. So wird zum Beispiel ein stabiler Wanderschuh nie so gut gedmpft
sein knnen wie ein Laufschuh. Bei der LOWA STG Technologie werden die stabi-
lisierenden und die dmpfenden Sohlenbereiche getrennt. Dies macht eine isolierte
Abstimmung der Sohlenelemente mglich. Stabilitt und Dmpfung knnen auf
diese Weise perfekt in Einklang gebracht werden:
Stability and cushioning are deciding factors when it comes to quality sports
footwear. Depending on use, one or the other is more key. In most cases however,
excellence in cushioning is to the detriment of stability and vice versa. A stable
hiking boot for example, will never be as cushioned as a running shoe. With LOWAs
STG Technology, the stabilising and cushioning elements are separated, thereby
making it possible to isolate each sole element. In this way, both stability and
cushioning can be united in perfect harmony:

The natural biomechanics of the foot dictate an S shaped roll-off
pattern. The initial ground contact is on a mildly supinated heel.
While the foot is in full contact with the ground, the majority of the
weight or peak resistance area, is spread towards the edge of the
balls of your feet and then fully on the big toe before leading into
