Setting WAP Over CSD

1. Go to Menu then select Connect.
2. Select Data comm. then Data accounts.
3. Select Add account? then GSM data. Enter details for the following parameters:
Name: myGlobe CSD
Phone no: +639172399
User ID: globe
Password: globe
4. Go back to Menu then select WAP services.
5. Select Options then WAP profile. Select Add profile? then enter details for the following
parameters:
Name: myGlobe CSD
Connect using: myGlobe CSD
IP address: 192.009.163.034
6. Select myGlobe CSD then select Advanced.
7. Select Change homepage then enter details for the following parameters:
Name: myGlobe CSD
Address: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.wmlc
8. To activate WAP Over CSD, select Select profile from WAP services then select myGlobe CSD.
9. To initiate WAP over CSD, go to WAP services then select myGlobe CSD.

Setting WAP Over GPRS
1. Go to Menu then select Connect.
2. Select Data comm. then Data accounts.
3. Select Add account? then GPRS data. Enter details for the following parameters:
Name: myGlobe GPRS
APN: www.globe.com.ph
User ID: <blank>
Password: <blank>
4. Go back to Menu then select WAP services.
Network Integration and Change Control
5. Select Options then WAP profile. Select Add profile? then enter details for the following
parameters:
Name: myGlobe GPRS
Connect using: myGlobe GPRS
IP address: 203.177.42.214
6. Select myGlobe GPRS then select Advanced.
7. Select Change homepage then enter details for the following parameters:
Name: myGlobe GPRS
Address: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.wmlc
8. To activate WAP Over GPRS, select Select profile from WAP services then select myGlobe
GPRS.
9. To initiate WAP over GPRS, go to WAP services then select myGlobe GPRS.

1. Go to Menu then select Connect
2. Select Data comm. then Data accounts.
3. Select Add account? then GPRS data. Enter details for the following parameters:
Name: myGlobe MMS
APN: mms.globe.com.ph
User id: <blank>
Password: <blank>
4. Go back to Menu. Select Messages then Multimedia.
5. Select Options then Message server. Enter http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc for the
address.
6. Select WAP Profile then Create new. Enter details for the following parameters:
Name: myGlobe MMS
Connect Using: myGlobe MMS
IP Address: 192.040.100.020

Add New Modem

Using a proprietary modem
1. Insert the CDROM software driver in your PC. If the installation did not start
automatically, browse your CDROM using Windows Explorer then search for the
setup.exe or Install.exe. Double click the Setup.exe to start installation then follow the
installation wizard.
Using Standard 33600 bps Modem
Note: If you are using infrared connections on Windows 2000 OS, no need to add a modem
since the said OS has a built-in infrared modem.
1. Click on Start then select Settings>Control Panel.
2. Double click Modems (Win98) or Phone and Modem Option (Win2000). Select
Add>Others>Next.
3. Click Dont run the Hardware Installation Wizard. Click Next.
4. Click Dont detect my modem; I will select it from the list. Click Next.
5. Select (Standard Modem Types) under the Manufacturer and Standard 33600 bps Modem
under the Models. Click Next.
6. Select Virtual Infrared COM Port. Click Next then Finish.

Create an Internet Account

1. From the phone Menu then select Connect.
2. Select Data comm. then Data accounts.
3. Select Add account? then GPRS data. Enter details for the following parameters:
Name: myGlobe Internet
APN: internet.globe.com.ph
User id: <blank>
Password: <blank>
4. Select myGlobe Internet after saving. Note for the CID number.

Create a dialer
1. From the Start Menu, select Programs>Accessories>Communications>Dial-up networking.
2. Double click the Make new connection icon.
3. Enter name under the Type a name .
4. At the Select a device slide, select the Standard 33600 bps Modem or the proprietary
modem.
5. Click next. At the telephone number enter *99***CID number# (e.g. 99***1#). Click
Next then Finish.
6. Right click the dialer then select Properties. Unclick the Use area code and dialing properties
or the Dialing rule.
7. To start browsing, double click the dialer and click Connect.
