I would find out a%out new produ#ts that are going to %e released.
I would register a domain with the name of the produ#t.
So if the produ#t was Su##ess With $nthony, I would register a
Su##essWith$nthonyReview.#om domain name.
I would upload -" arti#les ea#h 0"" 1 -""" words 2I would pay a%out 34 for them5
6y final review would %e like ,""" words that I would write.
I would spend !"" on sear#h engine optimi7ation servi#es to get my we%site ranked.
6y e8penses would %e around 0"" per site in#luding domain name, hosting, et#.
I would make a%out -""" 9 ,4"" from a su##essful site.
I used to do , 1 4 of these per month 2%ut some of them for some reason did not rank
well on :oogle5.

Was it a lot of work<
(o, %ut it was %oring as hell to me.
I was tired of doing it.
=lus, I did not like this, %e#ause sometimes my site would not rank for some reason.
I would #reate 0 sites and only one of them would make money.

I #ould never predi#t my in#ome a##urately.
+owever, sometimes I would make 0 sites and all of them would make money.
It was #onfusing to #reate 0 su##essful sites and then have > failures in a row...
It was a good system for me 1 for a new%ie to make money.
It was #ompli#ated when it #ame to ranking your site, %ut it was a game of num%ers.
The more sites I #reated, the more money I made.
+owever, that is not the end of the story.
:oogle then released algorithm updates.
They #alled them =anda and =enguin.
Then my in#ome went down from ,""" 9 0""" per month to 4" per month.
What a ni#e #hange, huh<
?ut I a#tually tried %uilding more of these, so I lost money+
It did not go down to 4" per month, it went down to 9-""" per month 2%e#ause I had
to spend money to #reate these things5)
So then I swit#hed my model from reviewing one produ#t per site to reviewing many
produ#ts on one site.
I spent another -""" %uilding it.
It started making -""" per month from month two.

That site later got hit also, %ut then somehow it #ame %a#k.
Today it still makes a%out -""" in profit or !",""" in sales 2it sells physi#al produ#ts on
$ma7on5.

Why<
I have my email list making money for me.
It is *ery 'redicta&le how much you make (rom your email list+
$nd if something happens, if something #hanges in the industry, your in#ome will not go
down I66.$;ITL@ like it is with :oogle.
@ou #an ad/ust slowly.
@ou always have time to #hange.
With :oogle, it&s a gam&le 4unless you ha*e &een doing it since the internet was

The ne8t day you #he#k your stats and you see that you only got -" visitors.

If you make money from 'a#e%ook, one day you login to your a##ount only to reali7e it&s
deleted or permanently suspended...
If you make money from ==E 2pay per #li#k5 while not %uilding a list, you login to your
a##ounts to find out that your a##ount is suspended.
Or the produ#t that you promoted as an affiliate has %een taken down.
Or your servers #rashed and %e#ause your profit margins are so little... even !" minutes

With email lists that simply does not happen.

So one day2 I took a tracking link and I used that S"M0 tracking link (or the ne<t =

0*en more, I de#ided to take things to the e<treme to make this test as accurate as
'ossi&le and email my list 4 times per day instead of , times per day.
If this sounds terri%le...
It&s %e#ause it&s terri%le.
?ut I wanted to make this test as a##urate as possi%le.
We used Eore Eli#k 6a8imi7er 2a rotator5 whi#h means if the same person #li#ks on a link 4
times 2or more5, ea#h time they will see a different offer.
That means, there&s no #han#e for them (OT to #li#k on a link %e#ause they think it is the
same offer that they have already seen.
To say that I was stunned would %e a +DDDDDDDDDD:. understatement.

So after that, I asked myself why is it that different people open my emails every day, why isn&t
it the same people.
6y first thought was that I do not have a relationship with them.
#hat was true and that is one o( the &iggest reasons+
?ut then another thought #ame into my head.
?e#ause this list is %uilt from ad swaps and leads #ame from list owners who do an ad swap
every day...
They are su%s#ri%ed to many lists and therefore they get tens of emails per day.
If not hundreds...
In other words, every person who su%s#ri%ed to my newsletter, has already su%s#ri%ed to many
other newsletters.
%hat I did was2 I o((ered (ree 30 minute strategy sessions and I asked them how
many emails they get 'er day+

When we we&re doing this #ase study...
We had 4" messages in our follow up seIuen#e and we #hanged the freIuen#y of these
messages from one per day to ! per day.

I su%s#ri%ed to my own list /ust to see if follow up seIuen#e is working properly.
Then, I started getting emails from myself.
