It was always interested in banking God gave me a golden
opportunity to complete my internship at NBP Branch Gomal
niversity ! I "han one of the leading bank in Pakistan and well
known in world due to its performance# I had a general idea about the
banking$ but one I practically entered the banking field I saw much
about banking$ especially in these two months of my internship then
my imagination# I reali%ed the importance and significance of
commercial banking for the development of economy# &d'usting myself
in such a large commercial organi%ation in only two months is not an
easy task$ but by the grace of almighty God I did my internship in a
good manner and I learned a lot about commercial banking# (hich
built me built my wisdom about banks and the present economic
situation of our great motherland#

Preface
T
his report is a thorough essence of my study which I conducted in a
period of two months in a National Bank Branch Gomal niversity !
I "han as an internee# I have e*clusively studied and observed the
organi%ation structure$ customer service and personnel administration
of the bank# The purpose of this report is to evaluate the performance
of NBP and give concrete recommendation for further improvement#
&lthough the banking is functioning satisfactory$ even here are some
drawbacks have been pointed out in the operation of the bank#
Two months period is too less to understand the operation of
NBP$ but still it was a great e*perience for me to have a feel of the
practical world and keeping in view the limitation of the study# This
seems reasonable attempt#
I am thankful to my all my bank staff for their valuable
guidance in preparing this report in a presentable fashion# &lso
thankful to my parents and all my friends cooperation#
