Mr Prakash ADHIKARI Kumpur - 06Dhading NEPAL 05 December 2009

Our Ref: ACL 1013557

Dear Mr ADHIKARI ,

Re: Certificate of Acceptance/Visa Letter – Spring Term 2010

Thank you for accepting our Offer of a Place for Certificate in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management - ABE
with Pre-Session Course by submitting the necessary payments and documents. Our Application and Assessment Board
(AAB) has checked all academic documents submitted by you, and has decided to admit you to the College. However, for
you to become a fully registered student of this college, you need to report to us soon with a valid student visa, the original
academic documents, and the remaining First Year Tuition Fee.

Please find attached your Certificate of Acceptance/Visa Letter (formerly known as the ‘Admission to Anglian College
London letter’) that you will need to apply for your student visa. Carefully go through your personal details and inform us
of any inaccuracy before making a student visa application. A visa should never be refused because of the way this
document is constructed, since it has been prepared strictly in accordance with UKBA requirements and the UKBA
published sample.

Under the Points Based System, you will need 40 points to secure a student visa for the UK. You will get 30 points from
your visa letter and 10 points from a satisfactory financial status. If you are outside the UK, you should have the
‘maintenance cost’ of GBP 5400 equivalent, plus the remaining ‘First Year’s Tuition Fee’, held in your bank account for at
least 28 days. If you have a financial sponsor, the amount should be held in a joint account between you and the sponsor.
Please check the UKBA website for more details.

The admission is for your registration in a specific course or a programme of an academic year and it is not transferable to
other programmes or to other students. I suggest you consider these points before coming to the UK:

• You have read and agreed with our Terms and Conditions of application and relevant college policies.
• Apply for a student visa, if required, with this and other original academic and financial documents as required by
the nearest British High Commission, embassy, consulate, or visa facilitation service (VFS).
• Once you secure a visa, bring necessary originals of your photographs, transcripts, certificates, passport,
recommendations, and additional supporting documents that you think suitable for the registration process, along
with this and other documents issued by the College. No photocopies or duplicates will be accepted.
• Bring the remaining part of the First Year Tuition Fee when you appear for the registration process. You will not
be allowed to start your studies without paying this fee and successfully completing necessary registration
formalities. Ensure that you have funding or sponsorship in place to support your studies at further levels in future.

• Visit www.angliancollege.co.uk/newarrivals/generalinfo.html for more information.

We look forward to having you with us and trust that you will find your experience here thoroughly satisfying.

Yours sincerely

05 December 2009 Our Ref: ACL 1013557

Dear Mr ADHIKARI ,

Re: Provisional Arrangement of Accommodation

We are pleased to make you a provisional offer of accommodation for the first month after your arrival in London.

We have agreements with local landlords to provide competitive offers of accommodation for our students to stay in. To
enjoy this service and be assured of confirmed accommodation, you must inform us no later than two weeks before your
arrival by paying Accommodation Booking Fee of GBP 700.00 into our account.

This fee will entitle you, subject to availability, to either a single room for GBP 600.00 or a single bed in a shared room for
GBP 500.00 for one month. You will also have access to common facilities (kitchen, bathroom etc.) at the premises, but
you must provide your own food, linen and cutlery. The balance of either GBP 100.00 or GBP 200.00 is refundable when
you leave the property without having caused any damage. However, by booking accommodation through us you
understand and agree clearly that the rental part of the booking fee is not refundable even if you decide later that you no
longer require the accommodation. Therefore, think well before instructing us. The landlords may (but are not obliged to)
allow students to extend the rental agreement beyond the first month. Therefore, you must notify the landlord of your
intention soon after arrival.

If you have any query, please do not hesitate to contact us..

Yours sincerely

Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: Mr Prakash ADHIKARI - ACL 1013557 - Spring Term 2010

Please find attached duly completed visa letter and additional information sheets regarding the above student, who has
been approved for a course of study in this College.

Most of the information that will interest an Immigration Officer is openly available from Anglian College London’s
website. However, for details about a particular applicant it is necessary to have two pieces of confidential information
personal to that applicant, their ACL Reference Number and their Date of Birth. On the home page of our College
website, www.angliancollege.co.uk, please click on the button at top right ‘Check the Progress of Your Application’
and enter details in the pop-up window. The information you receive online will come straight from our database, so
that you can check the authenticity of any College papers shown to you.

A student applying for a visa with our authentic documents has been awarded a programme of study based on the
satisfactory inspection of the copies of their qualifications either by our Applications and Assessment Board, or our
representative in their country. Similarly, he or she has made some payment to us through one of several acceptable
means, or has deposited an international banker’s draft with our representative. In either case, the student is given a
receipt for that payment to be shown when required.

The student is required to read through our Terms and Conditions of Applications made available to them before
voluntarily completing our Application Form. Further support is constantly offered to them by several means including
our additional information sheets or our authorised representatives. We encourage, value, and pay attention to any
feedback from students on our operations or from our representatives.

If you have any further query about the student, about us, or our representatives, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Yours faithfully

General Information Related to a Prospective Student of Anglian College London

1. Offer of a Place’ and ‘Visa Letter’: We use the term ‘Offer of a Place’ to describe our initial offer of a place to a
prospective student. Generally the ‘Offer of a Place’ is conditional upon the student meeting certain criteria such as
educational tests, payment of fees and/or submitting authentic documentation to us. The ‘Visa Letter’, on the other
hand, adheres to terms used by the UKBA, and it may simply be called a ‘Certificate of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)’
when issued to a non-visa student.

2. Course Title: Not all courses opted for by students are awarded by our Application and Assessment Board (AAB).
Sometimes the AAB makes an offer for an alternative course or a programme which is more suited to a particular
student. It is up to the applicant whether to accept such an alternative. For example, an SSCE graduate in a
Commonwealth country may go directly to a degree course in their country, but in UK may need to pass through an
‘access route’ or to join a relevant diploma to bridge the 1 year gap because SSCE is 12 years of study whereas UK A
Levels are studied over 13 years.

3. Course Duration: The exact start and end dates of any course or programme are published in advance and
mentioned on both the Offer of a Place and the Visa Letter, but may vary as per the terms and conditions of the College.

4. Brief Course Description: Generally available from the website or Admissions. Students are encouraged to visit our
website and to submit queries and feedback.

5. Prerequisites: Not all courses have prerequisites; for example IMIS Foundation does not. The AAB awards such
courses based on the previous experience claimed by applicants. Please refer to the College prospectus and its website.

6. English Competence Test: Anglian College takes the level of knowledge in English of all students seriously. IELTS
and TOEFL results are the preferred methods of assessing their English. However, we can offer a pre-session English
language package lasting from three to twelve months. Such classes are a ‘must attend’ event that requires students to
actively participate in the teaching and learning process as per the UKBA guidelines. These sessions may also
incorporate some elements of business or IT English and associated activities. Since the beginning of our operation,
English language classes have always been taught by a CELTA-qualified native English speaker of local background.
This gives our students the advantage that they prefer, of learning their English from the mouth of an English person.

8. Funding: We carry out reasonable checks on the financial strength of students by asking a question on our
application form AF-501 and by taking note of the answers to that and other questions on that form to arrive at a
conclusion. For students coming through our representatives, we expect them to carry out stringent checks by
interviewing applicants. We appreciate the experience of our representatives as well as that of the Immigration Officers
in this field.
9. Accommodation: The College has exclusive arrangements with local landlords to provide home-stay and long-term
stays around London. This accommodation is provisionally booked for all of our students until they get a visa, but a
definite address is not confirmed until a prospective student obtains a student visa and is ready to travel to the UK –
typically not later than one week in advance. As part of our services, on behalf of certain students who pay the
appropriate fee, we book local accommodation close to the College and issue them with a ‘Confirmation of
Accommodation’ letter. Our Accommodation Officer uses several sources, including local estate agents and listed
Accommodation Providers. This service has a drawback that we will not be able to cancel the booking once the
Confirmation of Accommodation is issued.

10. Expenses: The average living cost for a student in London is currently around £7200 per year (excluding tuition
and exam fees) and we provide a breakdown with our ‘Offer of a Place’ letter to an applicant.

11. Jobs: Jobs suitable for students have become scarce in London since EU enlargement influx a while ago and the
world recession, but there are now signs of improvement which we expect to continue for a while. A capable student
can easily earn £6000 a year within the weekly 20 working hours allowance, if employed throughout the year, and/or by
working full-time during vacations but not during exam and assignments period. The College actively promotes job
opportunities around the area to its students.

More information can be sought by contacting Admissions at admissions@angliancollege.co.uk or by visiting

www.angliancollege.co.uk . Immigration Officials are kindly requested to consult with additional information on
Anglian College London despatched earlier for the perusal of British overseas outposts.
