Project Description:
Job Overview:
The PM must be an experienced senior PM with an excellent track record in working with government
related agencies, with at least 5-6 years experience. They should have worked on projects at either the
state or federal level that deals with federally mandated requirements, funding, and OMB project
manager requirements.
The PM is required to be 100% dedicated to this project by Federal requirements.
Experience with EBT or other, similar enterprise installations is important.
The PM must also need to be able to balance the process elements of Project Management with the
interpersonal elements of working with a caregiver agency culture. The ability to build strong client
relationships and show empathy while still advancing the project work is important.
The right PM will have experience in a range of PM methodology including the use of agile Project
Management.
Excellent written and oral communications skills are required. Candidates will be asked to provide
examples of the past work products.
Experience in managing a Federal/State RFP process and vendor management is critical.

FRAMEWORKS/SLDS/METHODOLOGIES: Agile Proj Mgmt - advanced knowledge - Other frameworks of
Project Management acceptable as well, looking for experience working with vendors.

Job Description:
1. DHHS - OFI is starting a project to reinvest funds to improve technology of operational processes in
the administration of SNAP benefits.
2. The PMO, DHHS and others determined at a Business Case meeting that there is a need for a project
manager to work with business and IT staff to coordinate the activities
3. This project is a result of report whereas the state received penalties
